So here's my honest take on Figwee Visual Food Diary. I've tested a bunch of calorie counting apps and this one's definitely unique. The visual portion control is a cool idea and does make logging food a lot quicker than typing everything in. But the app has a bit of a learning curve, and the database isn't as comprehensive as some other apps. Still, it's a solid option if you prefer a more visual approach to tracking your diet.

Description

Been using Figwee Visual Food Diary for a couple months now. It’s basically a calorie counting app, but with a twist – instead of typing in what you ate, you just pick photos of the portions. Pretty solid app if you’re into tracking your diet and calories.

Here’s what you do: search for the food you had, then slide a slider up and down to pick the portion size that matches what you actually ate. There’s also a bunch of pre-made meals and snacks you can just tap on. And the database has tons of foods – took me a while to figure out how to add custom items, but it’s useful.

Look, if you’re into calorie counting apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a more visual way to track what you eat.
