About Grand Screen

An independent catalogue of Android apps and games, a trading card reference, and a journal about the collecting market. No sponsored scores, no paid placement.

Our Mission

Grand Screen exists because the Play Store is hard to navigate once you are past the top charts. Our answer is a catalogue that is actually structured: permissions, file size, minimum Android version, download range and developer history laid out the same way for every title, so apps can be filtered and compared rather than just browsed.

We would rather be straight about how this is built. Listing data comes from the Google Play Store through its data API and is refreshed in batches, not continuously — some pages currently carry figures several months old. The summaries, pros and cons and FAQ blocks are generated with language models from that listing data; category placement and the curated collections are ours. With nearly nineteen thousand titles listed, we do not install and test them, and no page here claims we did. Full detail on how this catalogue is built.

The journal covers the collecting market — Pokemon TCG, sports cards, Magic: The Gathering and card grading — using marketplace price data rather than speculation. Those guides are written and updated by hand as the market moves.

Our Editorial Team

A small editorial team. Most of the catalogue is maintained programmatically; the journal, the collections and the editorial write-ups are done by hand.

Manya Lyalya

Editor-in-Chief

Manya founded Grand Screen and sets its editorial direction. The catalogue itself is maintained programmatically; her hands-on work is the written guides and the curated collections.

What We Cover

Our Standards

Editorial Independence

No developer or publisher pays for scores, collection slots or catalogue position, and no advertiser has ever been given editorial treatment. Display advertising and clearly labelled links to our own apps are the only commercial relationships on the site.

Transparency

We show where the data comes from. Play Store ratings, download counts and reviews are pulled from public sources; visitor ratings collected here are shown separately. Our own opinions are labelled as opinions.

Data-Driven

Specifications, permissions, version history and card price data are shown plainly so you can judge for yourself rather than take our word for it. Where the data is a snapshot — card prices especially — the page says when it was last refreshed.

Get in Touch

Have a question, correction, or app suggestion? We read every message. Reach us at vastflowhello@gmail.com. Corrections and takedown requests are handled first, usually within one to two business days. GrandScreen is published by Vast Flow, which also builds mobile apps; links to those are labelled as sponsored.
