Description
Been using Galatea: Books & Audiobooks for a couple months now. It’s basically an app where you can read and listen to tons of romance stories and books. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: you can browse through different romance genres and tropes, like steamy historical or enemies-to-lovers. There’s also audiobooks if you wanna listen on the go. And the stories get updated with new chapters all the time – it’s like having a never-ending supply of romance.
Look, if you’re a big romance fan, you’ll probably love this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job of giving you a ton of juicy romance content to dive into.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Galatea: Books & Audiobooks. I've tested a bunch of book and reading apps, and this one's pretty solid. The selection of romance stories is really impressive, and I like how you can switch between reading and listening. The interactive fiction is a cool touch too. But it does get a little repetitive and grindy after a while, and the ads can be intrusive if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a great option if you're a big romance fan looking for your next read or listen.

I'm not a huge fan of the wait times. I'm also not happy about the lack of things to do to get points, other than making purchases. I get it....
