I've tested a bunch of guitar tuner apps and this one from Fender is up there with the best. The tuning accuracy is really impressive, probably the most reliable I've used. I also like all the extra features like the metronome and chord library - makes it a pretty comprehensive music app. The only downsides are the occasional ads and the learning curve, but neither are dealbreakers. If you play strings, Fender Guitar Tuner is a great free option that gets the basics right.

Been using the Fender Guitar Tuner for a couple months now. It’s basically a free app that lets you tune your guitar, bass, or ukulele. Pretty solid if you’re a musician and need to keep your instrument in tune.

Here’s what you can do – there’s an auto mode that listens to your strings and tells you when you’re perfectly in tune. And there’s also a manual mode with a reference tone if you wanna tune it yourself. It’s got all the basics covered, plus some extra features like a metronome and chord library. Took me a while to figure out all the settings but it’s pretty user-friendly once you get the hang of it.

Look, if you play guitar, bass, or ukulele, you’ll probably find this app really useful. It’s not perfect – the ads can be annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job and it’s free, so worth checking out.
