Been using Whitetail Almanac for a couple months now. It’s basically a calendar app that predicts deer movement and feeding patterns to help hunters know the right time and place to hunt. Pretty solid app if you’re into hunting or wildlife tracking.
Here’s what you do: the app gives you a calendar view with green and red days. The green days are when the deer are more likely to be moving around and feeding, so that’s when you wanna set up your stand near their travel routes or food sources. The red days are when they’re more likely to be bedded down, so that’s when you wanna hunt near their resting areas. There’s also a ton of detailed data on things like weather, hunting pressure, and past studies – it’s pretty cool if you’re a data nerd like me.
Look, if you’re a serious whitetail hunter, you’ll probably really like this app. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job of helping you be at the right place at the right time. Worth checking out if you’re into that kind of thing.
