So here's my take on Door Kickers: Action Squad. I've tested a lot of action and strategy games on my phone, and this one's a pretty fun addition to the genre. The retro vibe works really well, and the gameplay loop of planning your assault, breaching the door, and reacting to the chaos is super engaging. I like how there's a decent amount of depth with the different characters and abilities, but it's not so complex that it's overwhelming. The difficulty curve is pretty well done too - it's challenging but never feels unfair. My main gripes are that the upgrades and progression can get a bit grindy, and the game does start to feel repetitive after playing for a while. But overall, it's a solid action game that scratches that itch for quick, intense missions. Worth a download if you're a fan of the genre.

Description

Been playing Door Kickers: Action Squad for a couple months now. It’s basically an old school side-scrolling action game where you play as a SWAT trooper trying to take down the bad guys in this place called Nowhere City USA. You get to choose your gear and then just kick the doors down and face the chaos. Gotta adapt on the fly and react quick – or just restart if you mess up and try a different approach.

There’s a bunch of playable characters, each with their own abilities and skill trees to level up. And you can use all kinds of strategic moves like healthpacks and gear refills to get through the levels. Or you can just save up points and unleash your ultimate ability to breeze through the tough parts. The retro pixel graphics look pretty sweet too.

Look, if you’re into old school action games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever and it gets a bit repetitive after a while – but overall it’s a pretty solid game. Worth checking out for sure.
