I've tested a bunch of puzzle apps and Human Resource Machine is one of the better ones. The programming aspect makes it really unique and adds a cool challenge, but it's still accessible for people who aren't super tech-savvy. The difficulty ramps up nicely and there's a ton of content to work through. Sure, it has some minor issues like repetitive gameplay and slow progression, but it's a super solid, polished experience overall. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're into this kind of thing.

Description

Been playing Human Resource Machine for a couple months now. It’s basically a puzzle game where you program little office workers to solve problems. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: every level, your boss gives you a task and you have to automate it by writing code. There’s also a bunch of different commands you can use, like move left, move right, get value, etc. Took me a while to figure out the best way to solve some of the puzzles but it’s super satisfying when you nail it.

Look, if you’re into puzzle games and don’t mind a little programming, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it does the job. Worth checking out for sure.
