I’ve been playing Jewels of Rome: Gems Puzzle for a couple months now. It’s basically a match-3 game where you gotta clear puzzles to rebuild this struggling Roman settlement into a thriving city. Pretty solid app if you’re into casual puzzle games with a storyline.

Here’s what you do: you match gems to clear levels, and you use the resources you earn to upgrade buildings and unlock new areas. There’s also a whole cast of characters you can interact with – it’s got a pretty fun Mediterranean vibe. And you can team up with other players in your clan to take on challenges. Took me a while to figure out all the features but it’s a pretty deep game once you get into it.

Look, if you’re a fan of match-3 puzzlers and city builders, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it does the job and it’s a solid time-killer.
