I've tested a bunch of survival/crafting games on mobile and DYSMANTLE is one of the better ones I've played. The world is really detailed and satisfying to explore, and the crafting/combat loop is addictive. It's got a nice balance of strategy and action without being too overwhelming. The graphics are great and it runs well even on older phones. The only real downsides are the grindy upgrade system and the pesky ads, but overall it's a really fun game that's worth your time if you're into the genre.

Description

I’ve been playing DYSMANTLE for a couple months now. It’s basically a post-apocalyptic survival game where you gotta scavenge for resources, fight off nasty creatures, and try to escape this wretched island. Pretty solid stuff if you’re into that sort of thing.

There’s a ton of stuff to do – you can break down like 99% of the objects in the world to collect materials, craft all kinds of weapons and tools, build outposts to claim areas as your own, and explore the open world to uncover its mysteries. It’s got a nice progression system where you can upgrade your gear and get stronger over time.

Look, if you’re into survival/crafting games, you’ll probably dig DYSMANTLE. It’s not perfect – there are some annoying ads if you don’t pay, and the upgrades can take forever at higher levels. But overall it’s a pretty solid apocalyptic adventure that I’d recommend checking out.
