I’ve been using Heads Up! for a couple months now. It’s basically a charades-style word guessing game where you hold a card on your forehead and your friends give you clues to try and guess what the word is. Pretty solid app if you’re into party games and word puzzles.
Here’s what you do: you pick a category like Celebrities, Animals, or even Harry Potter, and then the app gives you a word or phrase to guess. Your friends give you verbal clues and you’ve gotta try to figure it out before the timer runs out. There’s also a scoring system which is pretty cool. And you can even create your own custom decks – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a neat feature.
Look, if you’re into fun group games and word games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out for your next game night or Zoom hangout.
