Description
Been playing Arrow Crosswords for a couple months now. It’s basically a turn-based crossword game where you team up with another player to complete the puzzle. Pretty solid app if you’re into word games and a little friendly competition.
Here’s what you do: Each player gets 5 letters at the start of their turn, and you’ve got 60 seconds to place those tiles on the board. There’s also some picture clues which are a nice twist. And you get bonus points for playing all your letters or hitting certain tiles. Took me a while to figure out the strategy but it’s pretty fun once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re into word puzzles and playing against friends, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Arrow Crosswords. I've tested a bunch of word game apps and this one's actually pretty solid. The crossword format with the two-player mode is a unique twist that makes it more engaging than your typical solo crossword. The time pressure and bonus points add a nice strategic element too. On the downside, it can get a little repetitive after a while and the upgrades take forever at higher levels. But for a free game, it's well worth a download if you're looking for a new word game to play with friends.
