Been using Libro.fm Audiobooks for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you buy audiobooks through your local bookstore instead of the big online retailers. Pretty solid if you’re into listening to books on the go.
Here’s what you do – you can browse their massive library of over 400,000 audiobooks, including bestsellers and recommendations from real booksellers. There’s also the option to get a monthly membership, which is cool. And you can sync your purchases to the app so you can start listening right away. Took me a bit to figure out all the features but it’s pretty user-friendly overall.
Look, if you’re an avid audiobook listener and want to support your local bookshop, you’ll probably dig Libro.fm. It’s not perfect – the selection isn’t as big as Amazon’s and the app can be a little glitchy sometimes. But it does the job and I’ve found the customer service to be really helpful if you ever have any issues.
