So here's my take on A Better Routeplanner (ABRP). I've tested a bunch of EV planning apps and this one's definitely one of the more robust and feature-rich options. The trip planning is super accurate and I like how it gives you real-time updates while you're driving. Not gonna lie, the UI took me a bit to get used to, but once you figure it out, it's pretty intuitive. The only other downside is that the voice navigation isn't the best, but you can always just use it alongside your regular maps app. Overall though, I'd say it's a must-have for any EV owner.

Description

Been using A Better Routeplanner (ABRP) for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you plan electric vehicle (EV) trips. You just enter your car model and destination, and it gives you a full trip plan with charge stops and estimated times. Really handy if you’re an EV driver.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can see charging station locations, get real-time updates on your battery level and remaining range, and even re-plan your route on the fly if you need to. It’s got a driving mode too that lets you use it as a navigator. The app does a pretty good job of calculating efficient routes.

Look, if you’ve got an EV, you’ll probably find this app super useful. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit confusing at first and the voice directions aren’t the best. But overall, it does the job really well and is worth checking out if you want to plan out your EV trips.

Not really worth using. The app seems to choose longer and slower routes. It avoids fast chargers for slow charges. It adds super short charging stops to have you 30...
