Its been great with helping me remember my practice throughout the day and the reminder text and count down make it streamlined. If I modify the alerts, I have to cancel and reset them or they will not work. But that's a minor issue, usually I have no problem.

Extremely handy and useful. No glitches. There are timers for the practice periods that correspond to the individual lessons. You can read the text of the day in full or just the short reminders. Worth investing in if you're serious about progressing further with the Course.
This app has been a Godsend for keeping me on track and reminding me to practice my lessons. There are a couple of issues however that I hope the developer can address. First, if the timer is counting down and the orientation of the phone changes, the timer reverts back to the countdown button and you can no longer see the timer. Second, you cannot minimize the reminder screen after you've opened it. It simply disappears and does not stay in memory. That said, thank you for this app. I need it.
Truly, it's a blessing to have the workbook on your phone. The app works perfectly with hourly reminders. Each lesson has the full text available to start your morning, and then, the abbreviated version can be chosen for your reference throughout the day. A must-have for students of ACIM.
amazing. so very helpful in keeping the practice. exactly what I needed. the only suggestion is that the countdown only goes for 2 minutes and often the practice periods are longer than that, perhaps if there was an option to set the timer to a custom length each time, that could be really helpful. Thank you!
Good outline of the lessons and I've never noticed a typo. I don't understand the alerts but really just use it for the text and that works well for me. 😀👍👌🙏🙋♂️ I'm Grateful for a tool to use as a experience the peace the words of the Course have brought me. This is a great portable version of the paper book.
Utterly pointless unfortunately. I don't like having sound alerts on my phone and I always keep it on battery saver. So trying to use this app under those circumstances doesn't achieve anything because 1. It won't work at all on battery saver 2. I have to turn on notifications with sounds to reminded otherwise there's not screen flash up or anything for me to see visually. I may as well just put a recurring alarm on my phone and access the lesson through shortcut. Sorry!
I had trouble at first, MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE SETTING HAVE NO BATTERY SAVER MODE ON, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR REMINDER. I love this app, I am lazy with out it. Not only does it give me the reminder, it lets you set " a count down" for the amout of time you want to practice for. When I had trouble I emailed them and they got right back to me w help.
It works great for me. Loving it. I did notice that there is a problem with the order of the hours in the settings. To be specific setting the time from 9am to 12md is not possible as midday is set to military time 00:00 hours and so the alarms run till midnight. and if you try to set it from 9 to 12, that doesn't work either as 12 is set before nine in the list and so the system can't set the timers either. They come out blank or better said, empty. That is the only comment. Despite that, I love it. use it daily. Love the countdown feature. Great idea! Keep it up!!!!
I have been using this app for about 10 days now and am finding it so useful and helpful. It is helping me practice the Course lessons more fully than I ever have before. I have done the lessons a full 3 times and have also started several times and not continued right to the end. I have always wished that something like this existed. I think it will help me complete the lessons, complete them more fully than ever before, and get more from them than I ever have before. Very grateful, thank you.
Works well and provided I set up the reminders, is useful. The only suggestion I have is that it automatically goes to the next lesson on its own and stay in reminder mode unless otherwise changed, save me having to do this each day. It would be good if it automatically went to that days lesson so I didn't have to make sure I had the right one, particularly if I have not done them for a few days.
The app works... but it took me a lot of time to get used to its way of operation. The app does not restart automatically if you turn off and on the phone. Android permissions have to be tweaked. Pressing some lucky button ("customize alerts"?) makes all notifications stop and I have to reinstall. The chapters do not succeed automatically on the next day, the notification interval does not update with each chapter... It does contain all the information but it's far from straightforward to use.
It works well. I rely on it especially as the daily idea is often a bit complicated to remember. Also, I can edit daily reminder text to include other ideas II want to think about. But I have to copy and re-edit each day otherwise any added ideas are erased when going to next page. It's very easy to use, I just set it up each morning by setting alerts and use my notification bar and the alarm sound. If you change page alerts need to be reset.
I love and appreciate being able to access each lesson easily and having both the full text and the reminder text. I've had this app for many years but it doesn't seem to have any updates. My reminder notifications only work some of the time. Today is set to every 30 minutes but it doesn't chime every 30. However I've had this app at least 7 years and I still use it anyway. What a blessing.
Been using this app for years and when it became pay, I had no problem coughing up the money. I do love the app, easy to use get to text or reminder, set the reminders for the day, see when the reminders will go off... It's a good app and used to work perfectly. I was no longer getting the full text. It was spotty once I upgraded to pay version, but then text stopped loading. I had to uninstall and reinstall and now it seems to be working Worth the money for me
I've been using this app for just a few weeks and I'm still getting clear on where some options are. Perhaps I should have read directions more fully. A friend is having difficulty figuring out how to set notifications up as well. I'm not certain I'm always hearing the alerts I set up. Still working it out and I absolutely love the way it is set up with full text, reminder text, and the options for the duration of my practice periods, and more. So grateful a friend recommended this to me.
When I bring up the lesson for the day, it come up in an editable form and the keyboard appears. Why? I don't want to exit the lesson text. Having to close the keyboard each time and ensure I don't accidentally add or delete text to a lesson is tedious. please correct. or give an option to view the lesson in a non-editable form UPDATE: I think i understand now why the lesson is editable. It's so i can add some personalization to the lesson if i desire. Love the App!
This app is alright but is NOT worth $6. It has some serious issues with the reminder alerts. They often don't work at all or only alert you when you open the app, but other days they work fine. It's very random. The reminder alerts are the main reason I bought this app so their lack of dependability is really disappointing. It's also disappointing that the reminder just says "ACIM Alerts: Click here for notification reminder" instead of the actual reminder text. Try a free version first!
Does almost everything I need it to do. A must have to remind me of my daily lesson. Much better than writing it on paper. As far as improvements, I would like to see the timer number field be directly editable. I would like to be able to delete, edit and add alerts. When I view an alert and start the countdown timer, if I turn my phone and the screen flips, the timer stops and resets itself. Also, if you have the reminder up and then switch to the main app, the timer disappears.
