Its been great with helping me remember my practice throughout the day and the reminder text and count down make it streamlined. If I modify the alerts, I have to cancel and reset them or they will not work. But that's a minor issue, usually I have no problem.
Fabulous App. Be aware you have to switch off the alerts at the end of each day and switch them on again the next day. Don't just rely on the time of day you set reminders to finish. So grateful for something that aids total commitment to the Course ❤️🙏
Extremely handy and useful. No glitches. There are timers for the practice periods that correspond to the individual lessons. You can read the text of the day in full or just the short reminders. Worth investing in if you're serious about progressing further with the Course.
This app has been a Godsend for keeping me on track and reminding me to practice my lessons. There are a couple of issues however that I hope the developer can address. First, if the timer is counting down and the orientation of the phone changes, the timer reverts back to the countdown button and you can no longer see the timer. Second, you cannot minimize the reminder screen after you've opened it. It simply disappears and does not stay in memory. That said, thank you for this app. I need it.
Truly, it's a blessing to have the workbook on your phone. The app works perfectly with hourly reminders. Each lesson has the full text available to start your morning, and then, the abbreviated version can be chosen for your reference throughout the day. A must-have for students of ACIM.
amazing. so very helpful in keeping the practice. exactly what I needed. the only suggestion is that the countdown only goes for 2 minutes and often the practice periods are longer than that, perhaps if there was an option to set the timer to a custom length each time, that could be really helpful. Thank you!
Good outline of the lessons and I've never noticed a typo. I don't understand the alerts but really just use it for the text and that works well for me. 😀👍👌🙏🙋♂️ I'm Grateful for a tool to use as a experience the peace the words of the Course have brought me. This is a great portable version of the paper book.
Utterly pointless unfortunately. I don't like having sound alerts on my phone and I always keep it on battery saver. So trying to use this app under those circumstances doesn't achieve anything because 1. It won't work at all on battery saver 2. I have to turn on notifications with sounds to reminded otherwise there's not screen flash up or anything for me to see visually. I may as well just put a recurring alarm on my phone and access the lesson through shortcut. Sorry!
I had trouble at first, MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE SETTING HAVE NO BATTERY SAVER MODE ON, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE YOUR REMINDER. I love this app, I am lazy with out it. Not only does it give me the reminder, it lets you set " a count down" for the amout of time you want to practice for. When I had trouble I emailed them and they got right back to me w help.
It works great for me. Loving it. I did notice that there is a problem with the order of the hours in the settings. To be specific setting the time from 9am to 12md is not possible as midday is set to military time 00:00 hours and so the alarms run till midnight. and if you try to set it from 9 to 12, that doesn't work either as 12 is set before nine in the list and so the system can't set the timers either. They come out blank or better said, empty. That is the only comment. Despite that, I love it. use it daily. Love the countdown feature. Great idea! Keep it up!!!!
