I have paid for the Digital Lifetime subscription 1 day ago, but still it is not activated. I have sent email to their customer service but got no reply. Plus no one is picking my call on their contact number. I feel cheated and don't know what to do. Guys, beware before subscribing to ACK. Their customer service is pathetic and very poor ! All they want is money, and provide bo genuine service !!

After I posted the opinion about this app in public, the automatic charge that was applied to my card was refunded. I thank you for it. But, I would like to sincerely warn you about such policies whereby no refunds are issued for automatic renewals and the customer doesn't get a chance to cancel the auto renewal due to problems with the app. Also, asking customers to remove their card from Google is also inappropriate. You need to fix your app and services, yourself.

I got offer from ACK for having 1 month free online books from an exhibition where they had a stall. When I used the scanner to activate it, turns out it was only FOR ONE DAY. This was a cheap trick by ACK and I'm very angry. Also it's only available on the app and not on the website.

The life time subscription option is not showing on the app and most of the books are not available to read in this subscription. The reader for comics needs to be improved for better readability on phone. No reply from the customer service desk also since a couple of days.

Good way to reconnect with all the timeless classics, and relive my childhood. The only suggestion I'd have is to enhance the reading mode since the current one is too narrow for mobile devices. A liquid reading mode, similar to the one in kindle would be much more interactive and enhance the reading experience

No reply from customer service ,have purchased the 3 month subscription. Was using it for 2 days ,after which there was a problem in the app ,so I tried logging back in ,it said no id and my subscription just had disappeared. I tried contacting the customer service by phone ,wrote multiple emails ,but absolutely no reply .

Appreciate the gesture to read the books for free during the lockdown, but a dark mode is warranted. Few missing titles was disappointing. 'Love' option shd be renamed 'Bookmark' to differentiate from 'Like' option. Bookmarks be given a tab in menu for quickly accessing preferred books. Allow the users to bookmark in quick view/search/list mode. Download issue maybe due to peak traffic hrs. App needing internet to initiate was disappointing, should be done away with if possible. Thx again 🙂

The app is good for my kids, they can read Indian mythology, history etc. But app need many improvements. It lacking search based on by age, type, genre. Only search by book name does not land to desired book. Navigations needs improvements. Sometimes app crashes for me reason on tab. The interface of the makes it frustrating to use it. You need some professional to improve it.

I am a huge fan of Amar Chitra Katha. The app gives me unlimited access to all titles. The pages are well laid out and the flipping of pages on the digital Web page gives the feel of reading a real book. On mobile, the comic books are a pleasure to read on the go, as we can zoom in and out. The graphics are beautiful and colourful on mobile and ipad. My personal favourites are Mahabharatha and Ramayana series. I would have read it multiple times now and it is so exciting to read it again.

On mobile phone it is too difficult to read the books especially for small children. You have to constantly zoom-in or zoom out in order to read which makes reading experience bad further. I do not have a Tablet but there should be some other devices like Laptop or Desktop computer that are to be supported. Or if you already support Laptop or Desktop please let me know.

One of the worst shopping/reading app one can find in today's era. A part time college student can design a better app. If you make an ACK account on website, the same doesn't works on the app. If you make a purchase on the website, the same doesn't reflect on the app. Customer care replied they will look into the matter, but after that there is no response. If you click on subscriptions on the app, it will crash each time.

I could not access and download the comics I wanted to read through the app, and it does not allow any access to account or settings. Now it has auto renewed and charged my credit card even though I have cancelled my subscription within the period. I have sent emails and tried to ensure that I get a refund for material I cannot get -- and it's engineered to make me pay for some service I won't get. They won't refund!!!

We ordered for subscription on 4th July, and waited for almost a month. When we didn't see any delivery, tried to reach out to them on watsapp, phone and email requesting for an update. But there was no response. When we started posting on social media, they kept deleting our comments and blocked the screenshot of our order id. There are many other customers who are complaining of the same issue on social media. Let's try so that no others are cheated of their hard-earned money. BOYCOTT ACK.

Plus, the app allows you to purchase and download comics directly, making it super convenient to read on the go.

I got the subscription. They didn't have a upi option for Payment as they didn't wish to actually make a sale for their subscription but force the user into auto-renewal. I am trying to cancel the subscription but their no option to do that. They don't have a contact number even. I mailed them twice but haven't received a reply. Looks like I have to file a consumer complaint against ACK fraud comics.

I am looking for support and asking for cancellation of subscription but the phone no and email both are not working ! Who should I reach in that case ?

These are stories I grew up reading and the Ack team has preserved very well. I have been reading a lot of comments regarding auto debit. For everyone's info, auto debit only happens if we authorize a payment while adding card details. The important part is we get 3 notifications from the team to cancel auto debit as soon as the card details are added. We can always cancel it by simply following the steps in the email. Sad to see the app get rated for such an operational issues.

Ofcourse who's not a fan of their comics. As a 90's kid, they have always kept my leisures engaged. 5 Stars for the content. But I wish you could help me zoom the page further on the app. I read it on my phone screen. I wish to have a bigger font & moreover admire the comic sketches. Please do bring these changes for my convenient reading. That would be of great help.

Lifetime subscription is a scam. i had bought Lifetime subscription, but now they sent a notification saying Lifetime subscription is being retired and a new lifetime subscription needs to be bought at 4 times the cost. also not all titles are available. won't recommend

Purchased a 'lifetime' subscription, they ended that in just 3 years!!! Such a money grabbing con people. Ofcourse I love their stories, but this is not a way to do business.
