Description
Been using ACOI Events for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you view stuff from the annual ACOI conference – you can check out the presentations, speakers, exhibitors, and all that. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do: you can view all the presentation slides and take notes right in the app. There’s also a messaging feature so you can chat with other attendees. And you can even share stuff on Twitter or email from within the app – super convenient.
Look, if you’re going to the ACOI conference, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a bit clunky and the downloads take forever sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to stay connected during the event.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on ACOI Events. I've tested a bunch of event apps and this one's pretty decent. The ability to view presentations and take notes right in the app is super handy. And the messaging feature is a nice touch to stay connected with other attendees. But it does have some issues - the interface feels a bit dated and the download speeds can be slow at times. Wouldn't say it's the best event app out there, but it gets the job done if you're going to the ACOI conference.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Tons of useful features for conference attendees
- Take notes and annotate presentation slides
- Connect with other attendees through in-app messaging
- Share info on Twitter, email, etc right from the app
Cons
- Interface feels a bit dated and clunky
- Downloads can be slow, especially on weaker connections
- Might be overkill if you're not actually going to the event
