The native dialer integration doesn't work good because the sound is completely silent on receiver (also no sound on wire earphone). Anyway it works on speaker or bluetooth hands free kits. All others, so far so good.
Reviews for Acrobits: VoIP SIP Softphone
← Back to Acrobits: VoIP SIP SoftphoneSo many issues. AAnet SIP in UK on wifi and EE. Samsung S23Ultra. 1. Wifi. Calls arriving while phone is asleep, no audio to softphone. Calls arriving while phone awake have two way audio. 2. EE 4G/5G - calls arriving have one way audio. No sound on softphone. 3. Wifi/EE. App cannot register connection with SIP provider over VPN. Any VPN. Zoiper is ugly and clumsy. But gives me two way audio, push notification, works over VPN and switches seamlessly to EE 4G/5G. Would love a refund.
Great app & way better than anything I've tried to date - the push functionality for incoming calls is very good & works well with my provider (Sipgate). Unfortunately there is no provision for checking voice mail with the Acrobits Softphone - you have to purchase ground wire instead: would be helpful to advise this point in the product overview to save buying the wrong software, which I did.
Working very well so far but notification list looks a bit strange. Well worth the one off fee. Push notifications are the only way sip/rtp can really work on a mobile. It was really designed for fixed devices. This soves the problem.
I'm on galaxy s7 with android oreo and the connection to the sip server is gone when the app is not open and in focus. Even switching to the settings on my phone will kill the connection. I have to bring the app back in focus for it to try to reconnect.
Like others here, I've tried almost every free VoIP app in the market, all of them are trash and/or have a dated UI. Some even looks and operates like it was a high-school project. I should have bit the bullet and paid for this app from the start. Works flawlessly with VoIP.ms and Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Integrates with Google Dialer and I can choose to default to the SIP account or prompt me to use SIM or SIP at the beginning of each call I make.
This app is so much better than Zoiper. I can initiate calls directly from the default contacts app in my Google Pixel phone (couldn't do this with Zoiper). A really important advantage is that the calling appears to be reliable (it wasn't with Zoiper). And the setup was easy.
When I received a call I have no audio in either way, I need to change to speaker and change again to receiver to make audio works. I hope you can help me with this issue. Thank you! PS: If you have smart watch like Garmin that can receive calls the Bluetooth function will have an affect on audio quality. The issue is now resolved. Thanks! Acrobits is really good 💯
Been using it on Android 7 & 11 devices for a few years. Overall performance very good. I'd tried a number of others off Googleplay, paid and unpaid, but this was the best. (I reserve five stars for "WOW!!!" experiences, this product is competent, and without bugs as near as I can tell, so I'm very happy with it and recommend it highly.) By the way, I had a problem on my end, which the developer helped me with right quick. The fifth star is for customer service.
Excellent VoIP app, working very well with my provider (voip.ms). No crashes, clear audio. One suggestion would be to improve the contrast around on-screen buttons like mute, speakerphone, etc. It can be difficult to see at a glance if you're still muted, for example.
I looked at virtually all of the SIP soft phone apps in the Play Store and this is the only one to support multiple VOIP accounts and properly and useably integrate with the stock dialer. After pressing the call icon, it pops up a dialog box displaying your GSM account and your currently selected VOIP account to choose from for the dialed call. Only complaint is that you can't select which VOIP account to use n this dialog if you have multiple VOIP accounts. Plus, it seems to behave consistently in this manner whether or not the Acrobits app is running or not.. ' Setup is as simple as the best of the competition, Only complaint here is that the extensive list of clients is not ordered. There is, however, a search feature to find the desired provider. Setup options in every category are more extensive than I've found elsewhere and better organized as well.. Sound quality seems fine, although I'll need more use to properly evaluate that. Would give it 5 stars if not for my complaints, it's relatively steep cost and the fact I would rate the best of its competition no higher than 2 stars. NTL, the cost is worth it.
Just the best SIP softphone out there, worth every cent. I have tried them all (free and paid) but this just works, reliably, (can be a bit flaky on the Bluetooth front, but I'm sure they're working on it), push notifications are the way to go, no missed calls and means you have usable battery life, was hesitant to give 5 stars as I haven't dealt with support (that said, I haven't needed it), but 4.75 is close enough to give it the five.
System call integration works nicely; this is a must-have for me since I need to be able to use my vehicle head unit's hands-free system to place and receive calls. And it doesn't kill my bluetooth media after using it either like Mizu did. However, I've started having an issue where the other end can't hear me for 10-20 seconds at the start of a call. It's a bit frustrating and it isn't due to my provider as my other devices work.
I must have tried all free apps before I decided to pay for this one. I should've started with this app. It is the only app I tried that works flawlessly, has good sound quality, is fully integrated with the native dialer and doesn't add a constant buzzing noise in my headset when not on a call. I'm using it with a voice.ms SIP. Strongly recommend.
I decided to try a different VoIP client when my previous one, Bria, was not alerting on incoming calls. I thought that since they have push that it was simply the best I could hope for. Acrobits's push service works for incoming calls though. I also love that it integrates with the native Android dialer. I was worried that it wouldn't work on Android Pie on my Galaxy S10 after reading some negative reviews, but I'm happy to say that it works perfectly.
it was installed on my android, however doesn't appear o. apps list, but o could open from Google play store. now I see enable button, but that doesn't work nothing happens when you click enable
Great SIP Calling App, has one minor problem which if it was fixed would make it perhaps the best SIP app out there. When it's set to work with the integrated dialler (which says it is beta), it works with your Bluetooth devices well, the only downside is it's 50:50 if the other party can hear you. The outgoing audio isn't transmitted. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't which is frustrating. Otherwise the app is perfect for SIP accounts.
THE GOAT SIP Softphone app out there. Got it on both platforms. Android and Ios. The support is great, and what I love most about this app is the automatic call recording feature and the default call integration. Works really smoothly. Worth every penny.
Sonetel compatible. Doesn't require a subscription. User friendliest. Doesn't force the user into granting unnecessary permissions (such as yanking my 1000+ contact list). Distinct ringtone. Simply works. Finding a way to block calls from a specific number isn't trivial but thanks to the amazing developer's response, I now know how to accomplish this.
Works perfectly every time. The most reliable VOIP app avaliable. Just realy wish it had a dark mode option.
