Reviews for Adobe Acrobat Reader: Edit PDF

I rarely use this all. Today I needed to use it and it had to to update. When it updated and I opened it, a screen opened a page for me to re register using my credit card for verification saying I wouldn't be charged. I put in all the information. It was NOT anything to do with the app at all. Instead it was to sign up for some streaming service and said after 5 days it would charge $39. VERY deceitful as it presents as the pdf app when it was for an extensive advertisement. I am pissed!!!!

If you plan to create documents (fill & sign), definitely skip this white elephant. Long-term contracts are dead, but, apparently, not at Adopey! I spent two hours filling out a long form, and it crashed at the very end after I thought I had saved it multiple times. Turns out I was just hitting an arbitrary blue check mark that does nothing. At the paywall, they don't make it clear that THE MOST EXPENSIVE document processor, doesn't save & can't recover your PDFs when it farts them away. Poof!

Mediocre at best. Doesn't let me scroll through a document while my keyboard is out. Whenever I input something into a FILLABLE PDF, it either deletes it or freezes. The only thing I can use it for is converting documents into a PDF, or vice versa...that's it. So basically useless. I actually pay this damn company for extra futures and get none...sounds about right.

Will try to rip you off, if you ever sign up for a free trial. I signed up for Acrobat Pro for a 7 day trial period and canceled after 5 days because it didn't work for me. I got an email confirmation saying that it was canceled, but somehow they snuck in their AI assistant, which apparently does nothing because I didn't even know I had it. It took me a couple months to realize that I was being charged over $7 per month for something I didn't sign up for. Want to write more, but Adobe sucks!

Falsely advertised as free! I just wanted to edit a document. Something that would have taken 5 seconds to do. A service that's FREE everywhere else. But they wanted me to subscribe monthly or yearly for a STUPID amount of money for what it is. I guess I wasted the amount of time I could have just done it on my PC with an actually free program. Would be nice to do it on my phone. It could save me a whole 60 seconds. Not worth $100. Not even worth $1. Lol But Adobe did waste my time though.

My experience. well, you would expect this to work, for really, it doesn't do well.. I have all my tech manuals for my equipment I service in pdf form. Sometimes, it's just easier to open the file. Hit the entered link to a page that's on page 100 to pop me right to what I need, but it doesn't work. So I have to scroll f Throughthe entiree file to get 1 bit of info like a error code. And 90% of time it's just blank pages. But if I open the same file in say word. Links work just fine. Useless...

This app used to work as a reader. The description still says it works as a reader. Whenever I try to open a file with it, I am led directly to a pay wall with no "not now" option. Update: yeah I gave it my best shot. If there's not "not ever" option, and people can't find the "not now" option in less time than I spent looking, there's a problem.

What in the world is going on with trying to edit a document all of a sudden!? The mobile app now constantly freezes and crashes. Both the desktop and mobile app; it was simple last week to click on the area I wanted to text, and voila. I go to fill in some dates on a document today (both on desktop and mobile app) and the text is so small, I can't even read it and it's blue. I can no longer move the text where I want it on the "line" and I can't even size it! Paid subscription and frustrated!

Frustrating as hell. Can't paste, moving text is extremely unintuitive, can't paste, the keyboard keeps popping up, can't past, I want to throw my phone, can't paste. What the hell happened, the older version was, from what I remember, much much more useful and easy to use. Can't paste in this version. This is frustrating. Have to sign in? Uninstalling...

Super shady. I was sure I signed up month to month, but when I tried to cancel it, it wouldn't let me cancel without paying a $70 cancelation fee. When I signed up initially, I didn't read anything about a cancelation fee. I paid $20 on a month to month basis... this app also never stopped blowing me up with notifications. It wasn't a super intuitive program to use either. Start to finish was, unfortunately, a terrible experience.

Naggy piece of software. Just wanted to use the "name brand" PDF reader to do basic viewing, but Adobe has lost the plot with all the constant notifications and popups about "features". I shouldn't have to tell it a hundred times that no, I don't want to convert an image I just downloaded into a PDF, and no, telling Android to block the notifications doesn't count as a "setting" in your app.

The new search functions is awful and utterly useless. I need to search a long complicated document, on a regular basis. I need an overview of all occurrences of my search term, as it was in previous versions. Having to go through each individual hit, as it is now, is completely unacceptable and unusable. Switch it back or I will be forced to find a way to get sideload a bootleg of an older version . That search feature is more important to me than any so-called improvements you could ever make. Also, I will NOT log in to a stupid pdf viewer. Very offensive. Stop trying to track people or steal their data. Viewing PDF'S on my phone does not require any internet or cloud access.

I tested the premium for 2 days. It just works so bad... Everything works in the cloud which makes a simple combine PDF to take 30 minutes and 2GB of data... Then the document gives you error when you try to open it. If it is not damaged takes between 7-8 min to open. You want to rotate the pages and there is no option to select all. You need to go one by one!!! In a 200 page document... Incredible they want to charge 10$/month for this. What a steal!!

The update looks nice, but drawings move when the screen rotates. That wasn't an issue in order versions. I use the freehand drawings to mark up PDFs when I can't highlight for one reason or another. it would also be nice to be able to use night mode in general, not just specific to single PDFs. another small thing that I wish I could be included would be the ability to freehand draw, but also advance the next page by swiping. Along with that, be able to zoom in and out, pan around a page, while free hand drawing. Overall very good app but just a few tweaks might make it more useful

So inconvenient when it comes to unsubscribing. This should be immediately available in the app with with the "restore subscriptions" instead of it becoming detective work. It also misleads you to believe you'll find it in the Google play subs section (nope not for me). Subscribers be prepared to do ten times the work to unsubscribe. Oh don't forget you have to pay an early termination fee. unbelievable. I should get to remove the last star for having to pay for my cancellation. 👎👎👎👎👎

I am pretty ticked off. I wanted to tell the 'edit' function and I was prompted to pay for it with a 7-day trial period. Supposedly if I signed up and canceled within the 7 days, I would not be charged. I signed up and it took money from my Google Rewards account immediately. I tried the edit functions for 10 minutes and realized it did not do what I wanted so I canceled immediately after that 10 minutes. Well, Adobe kept the money it collected & 6 days later, no credit back. Not a free trial!!!

TERRIBLE! DON'T SUBSCRIBE! Signed up for the free trial, tried to cancel and didn't give me the option to, instead uses aggressive marketing and MAKE YOU sign up for the annual subscription. Then, when I tried to cancel, made me go through hoops just to cancel them and charges an early cancelation fee! I never wanted to sign up for the annual subscription in the first place! It is NOT user friendly! They want access to too many files- overly invasive. BEWARE!

I love the Adobe app, but there are two major problems I have with it. The first is It doesn't have folder creations where you can create a folder and organize your files as you desire. The other problem is that when you upload a document and you want to share or upload it to a third-party app, it doesn't appear in the upload. You would have to save to your phone to locate it. These two issues warrant a 2 star deduction, but I decided to be generous.

The ads are random and I don't know where they come from. Only that when I open your app, they start appearing. And once I figure out how to delete them more ads show up. Most of the time, I end up having to turn my phone off. I have deleted the app and now use MS Word to create and edit .pdf files. Much better! ---------- This app is intent on advertising over and over without any way of exiting the app. So annoying! It's apps like this that make me want to stay off the internet...

For about the past week I can't open any documents, it takes me to a page to sign up for the paid version, I click on the cross and it takes me out of the document. Same thing happens when I try to reopen again. I do have the free version but it even says I should be able to read documents. Also been unable to save documents to Onedrive for about 1 year. Everytime I try to it says error saving document.
