Updated! this is a very cool app. they should fix glitches, because it's helpful to designers. I've done some fun things prob not dreamed of when devlpg it. BUT, I can't export properly, seems you can't share anymore, nor do they support or know it Cant fix my HUGE problem. I've created 1000s of assets, yet now only handful saved to cloud library to use on a diff device or other adobe prods. Whole point of library & this app IS to use elsewhere. Im pissed! Gotten nowhere. Lost so much time. :(
Reviews for Adobe Capture: Illustrator,Ps
I've been using this app regularly for years and it's so helpful and makes little tasks fun . I started using it when I first started doing digital art/graphic design and ive learned so much because of this app, about color, patterns and geometry and vectors. I also use it to simplify elements from photos I take, i take a lot of pictures of flowers and I like to use the simplified vectors in patterns and illustration. Having the background removal in the app makes that process so much smoother.
I haven't used any other software like this. But I'm astonished especially with its shape function with which one can produce black and white or color images that can be used in a drawing lesson. Real pictures are to hard to imitate, but after using shape function, the transformed pictures have fewer details together with preserving the essentials.
I really find this app useful. I started out in Fireworks, for creating materials that, I would then import into Maya for my animations. Then I had to paint a texture by hand one pixel after another. Wish I had the materials option then, but nows better than never. It works great, and haven't run into any problems using them.
Hello, Adobe can you make an application that allows me to paint, rotate, multiply, gradient, and copy and paste art and objects, like illustrator, but on my phone. During the winter months our power goes out, after we get a strong cold front, then all i'm left with is my phone to make art. That's when I wish I had access to Illustrator.
This app has pretty much everything! PNG's, Patterns, Backgronund Eraser, RGB Pallet Creater, Gradient Creater, Paint Brush Creater, ect... I was able to erase 3 other apps thanks to this one!!! The only thing that I would suggest that it had would be a way to create layers. If it had that I'd say there's no other app that could compare.
Really good and clever app for transitioning to digital content. Now you see something you like you can take a picture of it and use that in many ways sent right to your Adobe package. Or draw something in pencil you liked. Now you can take a picture and the app will do the work for you. Very clever indeed. And very useful
I literally couldn't do anything after installing it. All I want is an app I can use to animate and move things in pictures, cuz there's an app on computers, "Adobe animate" I think, but I really want that on mobile. I could really use it, and I can't find it even if it's a thing. if there's a website for it, GLADLY. If it's not usable for Motorola's, then that ruins everything tbh. I don't wanna be rude, but it's my honest opinion, sorry!! 🫶🫶
So far this app has worked flawlessly for me. I have used it quite a bit for projects...mainly for the colour palette. I enjoy finding colours "in the wild" taking a picture and then using Capture to create everything. It's also free which is pretty cool. I would recommend this for anyone who creates anything. It's a great tool to have in the toolbox.
Great start, needs more app compatibility across the Adobe mobile line. For instance, patterns generated on Capture are only able to be imported by Illustrator and Photoshop on the computer; mobile versions are not compatible. Would also love to see a feature where one could export short videos of the pattern angle being manipulated. It looks so good when tweaking the angle, like a live kaleidoscope. Very smart and addictive app, though.
