I’ve been using aDStretch for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you make faint rock art in photos more visible. Pretty solid app if you’re into archaeology or just love checking out ancient cave drawings and stuff.
Here’s what you do: You can take a photo with your phone or upload one from your gallery, and then apply a bunch of different image enhancement filters. There’s CRGB, YRD, YRE – those are good for bringing out red pigments. And then there’s YDT, YRD, YWE which are more general purpose. You can play around with the settings to adjust the strength and saturation. Once you find a filter you like, you can save it as the default so it automatically applies when you load a new image.
Look, if you’re into preserving and studying ancient rock art, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the filters can get a little heavy-handed – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to enhance your photos in the field.
