Description
Been using Adult Block: Porn Blocker for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps keep you and your family away from harmful online and offline content. Pretty solid if you’re looking to filter out the bad stuff, you know?
Here’s what you do: there’s a web shield that blocks millions of adult websites using a constantly updated filter. It’s got an on-screen guard too that detects and blocks that stuff in real-time. You can also customize it with your own blacklist/whitelist and keyword filtering. The app analyzes pages and text to figure out what’s inappropriate.
Look, if you’re trying to keep your kids (or even yourself) away from that kind of content, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take a while and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job pretty well.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Adult Block: Porn Blocker. I've tested a bunch of parental control apps and this one's pretty solid. The web filtering and on-screen detection work really well - I haven't seen it miss much. The customization options are nice too, lets you fine-tune it. But it's not without its issues - the upgrade process is slow, and the ads can get in the way sometimes if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a reliable blocker that gets the job done.
