Reviews for Aetna Health

I have deleted the app altogether. After entering my user name and password it would just freeze up, unable to do anything. I received an initial email from Rick ( with Aetna) inquiring about the issue. I responded to Rick but never heard anything back after that initial email. I sent them another email letting them know I was just deleting the app because it stopped working altogether with my Android. This app was a convenience that turned into a headache. So much for convenience.

I've been using this app for a while, it was "usable" for a a good time. It was slow, sometimes unresponsive. But as of lately the app won't even load! Every time I open the app it get stuck on the green refresh arrow. I've cleared the cache/data, and uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. At this point I'm using the website, which is just as slow as the app.

Edit to 1 star, literally beyond irritating. Works okay, but difficult to navigate and it doesn't remember the log in credentials. Annoying to use. Might as well just use the online since you have to log in everytime. Also, if you try to search for an Rx, it makes you go to a different screen and then doesn't even search it.

you made an all new and improved app that doesn't work. I had a nice, working app for a few months, ever since you made this "super app" or whatever you want to call it, the only thing that happens is it spins like it's uploading, but almost never does go anywhere. On the rare occasions that it does, after I sign in, I never get past seeing the swirly of the promised upload, but alas, nothing else happens, even if I wait a whole ten minutes. Would love to have a working app

I have tried to log in for about 10 days and so far it worked once. I try numerous times of the day and night and I get the message " come back soon" we are having technical issues. On my Android phone it just says can't log in. I am going to delete the app and reinstall and see if that makes any difference. In the mean time I am very concerned that changing to Aetna was a big mistake.

App works fine, I was able to log in and find an urgent care in about 2 minutes. I was reading other reviews about how horrible the app was, but I didnt run into any of the problems reviews mentioned. Edit: installed app on 4/21. App worked perfectly. tried opening app today 4/22, app freezes after I enter my login info. App does not currently work.

Pharmacy portion of this app is TERRIBLE. Every time I refill a prescription and check out, I get an error message saying there is a problem with the transaction and to try again later. There isn't a problem with the transaction (I receive an order confirmation email and my meds) - the app simply doesn't function. Also, the pharmacy has screwed up orders on several occasions by not reading the doctor's notes. I've received the wrong dosage more than once.

I cant ever sign in anymore. A message comes up that says they are having technical issues and to come back later. But no matter when I come back the issue still persists. I've tried clearing cache, clearing data, reinstalling on multiple devices, same issue all around. After they updated the app, the format changed and nothing works. Unfortunately the app is completely useless for myself and many others experiencing the same problems. Go ahead and read the reviews to see what I mean.

Honestly a decent app. My questions were answered, and data was presented in an easy to understand fashion. However, I very much disliked the pop-up asking me to review the app. It was too aggressive, and suggestive. Selecting "dismiss" should prevent the pop-up from spawning again for at least ten minutes. Instead, the pop-up continues to pop-up every time you open the menu. Y'all can be less annoying.

I am a mid 20s student using this as an "easy to carry" option instead of having to print out my own flimsy card on printer paper. This app makes it incredibly difficult to have easy access to a digital copy of my insurance card, especially if I need to pull it at a moment's notice. I have to input my username and password, and then I need to prove I'm not a robot. Often the app tells me that it can't find my card, and to try again at another time. Highly frustrating.

"! Order Not Placed. There was an issue placing your order. Call the number on your member ID card for more information." Can't order prescriptions, or that page was coded in for the page to display once you've successfully placed an order, because after receiving that message over and over last night while attempting to submit my prescription refills, this morning I noticed that one order DID go through the app. Using Samsung S23 Ultra. This same issue has plagued this app for the past 2 yrs!

I've had Aetna for 2 months now and never been able to get into the app. "Come back later. We're having technical issues" for two months?? How much longer are these technical issues going to last??? I've force stopped, I've reset my phone, I've Uninstalled and re installed the app. Nothing works. 9 months later and I still cannot get into this app no matter what I do.

This app is impossible to navigate, does not give you the full menu options, and has the worst search features. For example, primary care doctor is not one of the "quick care" options, and when you search for care the search bar doesn't register certain words to pull up related items ( type in therapist, but no counselors/mental health specialists show up, just literal therapists including physical therapists)...this app needs work. It has a long way to go before it is user friendly.

Since downloading the app a few days ago, I have not been able to use it to access my ID card or other benefit info. Every time I launch it, I immediately see a message at the bottom of my screen that reads 'We're unable to provide additional info right now. Please try again later.' Options appear on the screen but when I touch them, the message 'Come back soon. We're having technical issues' appears or no info populates. What a waste.

Horrible app. For example, it won't stay logged in, will not allow for easy access to cards unless logged in (utterly useless in an emergency), and no longer allows one to view dependents. Overall it is a waste of space, and the devs should be ashamed to have their names attached. If I could give fractional stars, this app would be < 1 star.

When you log in to the app, you only get your basic information, and it's difficult to navigate. To get more info, it asks if you want to sign/log in to see "my member benefits." I thought that, that was what I was doing, seeing "my member benefits ," but then, it leaves the app and opens a browser window and takes you to their website. Then you have to log in again. Why bother using the app if every time I want info, I have to go to their website anyway. It's a waste of time. I'm uninstalling!

Useless app and the website is almost as bad. Can't login to the app, keep getting "Come back soon, we are having technical issues." Logging in the website is hit or miss. Sometimes it will work, sometimes it will say invalid username and password when I know I'm typing the correct information each time as I have it written down in front of me.

Really, really bad search function. Deeply unintuitive UI, and that's coming from a tech-savvy 22 year old. I can't imagine how hard it would be to navigate for older folks. Why does searching individual practices not show the correct results? Or even individual practitioners? I have to sort through huge lists of providers instead. Really bad.

I haven't been able to sign into the app for over a month. It always just says "technical issues" . Can't get into the member website either. I cant access my insurance cards or anything. I dont know whats happening but this is extremely frustrating. I've tried numerous different browsers. Un-installed and reinstalled. Can't get into anything. If I could give this zero stars I would because this is absolutely ridiculous

I've been trying to load the app and the website for 2 days now. So far neither will load which in effect makes Aetna useless. FYI, there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with my wifi. Everything, but Aetna loads just fine. I was even playing a game on Steam. As much as you pay, you'd think it would work. But then sometimes we tend to ask for too much.
