The logs need to have actual time stamps not just a count down stamps.
Reviews for AHA ACLS
← Back to AHA ACLSHm... A potentially life-saving app that costs money. I didn't realize one could put a price on life; guess I was wrong.
There is no place to record rhythm during rhythm checks... otherwise wouldve been a great app
Amazing point of care ACLS app - has the code pathway w/ built in timers all on one page 1 click away from the main page, very practical for using in a code!
I work as a hospitalist and this app is very helpful. Clear algorithms and the timers are great.
Now does it not only require a prescription, it also requires an account.
Great app, simple And quick. I'm sorry but the negative reviews on this app about it costing $3/yr are lame. A bunch of choosing beggars whining because they don't want to support a quality app. Well, stop being whiny loosers and make your own app if you don't want to pay. . . Simple fix.
I understand that creating a useful app deserves something in return, but charging a subscription seems greedy. Would gladly pay $3 once.
it was free but now its not. this was a good tool though that could save lives. it would have benefitted from being able to log other medications than just epi, as well as rhythm checks, rosc being achieved, and repeat arrests
Was a very useful app. Then you started charging for it - honestly creates some unsafe situations when you enter the app while running a code and hit a paywall 🙁
As a practicing emergency physician, this app is such an amazing digital companion for running codes. Such a quality app is long overdue. Very excited to continue practicing with this in hand
Updated a free app into subscription. Charge a higher one time price or charge for updates if you need funding. Tired of everything becoming a subscription. No thanks.
Great app, but the fact that MGH ($437 million in profit last quarter) is charging for it is obscene. I literally went to open the app DURING A CODE and had to get through a paywall. "Hold compressions, I have to put in my credit card"
Suggestion: add a drop down for cardio version steps and transcutaneous pacing under respected algorithms like you have for shocking.... and then I'll update my my review!
I used this app in the clinical setting and referenced it to my peers because of its effectiveness. Now it's exactly the same, but I'm kicked off of it unless I start a subscription. Sad that it happened. Had to uninstall.
Amazing app. The interface feels both complete and decluttered at the same time, making it very intuitive to use. The built in timers and epi dose counter are super useful, and make it fully self contained. The information all seems to be coming directly from the AHA, which ensures the pathways stay up to date. Without a doubt the best integrated solution I've tried for acls, certainly a must have both for providers who run codes often as for those who do not.
Subscription....guys please...I appreciate the app, but if it's paid I'm simply going to replace it with the PDF of ACLS algorithms I had on my phone before. I had a chuckle though imagining myself opening the app running a code and getting stuck behind a paywall
It’s a very useful app that I used for multiple codes, but now that it’s a subscription based model I am no longer using it. I’ve seen the developers responses that they no longer have funding from their generous philanthropist, which is unfortunate, but it is also unfortunate to be monetizing off sick coding patients who would benefit from their doctors having a useful clinical tool like this. It is only 2.99 a year and I’d probably be more willing to pay for it after I’m no longer a resident -
You can't use any of the features without paying 3$ per month. If it didnt say it was a free app then I'd be ok with the app being 3$ per month. In the prehospital setting, Im not going to use this app everyday so its not worth the 3$ per month.
What a tremendous resource for running a high quality resucitation effort! Built in timers and easy to access quick references. We all know that recalling the H's and T's or lidocaine dosing isn't easy in a stressful situation - this puts it at your fingertips. I'll definitely use this in my practice as a cardiologist.
