So here's my honest take on AHA PALS. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The content is super comprehensive and I like how it's all vetted by the AHA. The interactive guides and quizzes are actually really helpful for reviewing PALS protocols. That said, it can get a bit repetitive after a while and the ads are kind of a nuisance. But for a free app, it's a great resource for healthcare providers who need to keep their PALS skills sharp.

Description

Been using AHA PALS for a couple months now. It’s basically a medical app that helps healthcare providers deliver top-notch pediatric life support. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: there’s a bunch of interactive guides and quizzes to help you learn and practice PALS procedures. And it’s got a nice clean interface and the content is all vetted by the American Heart Association. And there’s a community feature where you can connect with other PALS providers – took me a while to figure that out but it’s pretty useful.

Look, if you’re a doctor, nurse, or EMT who needs to stay on top of PALS, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you work in pediatric emergency care.
