Great app! I was getting constantly called by spam callers and since I'm expecting a lot of calls from school, family, and friends it helped a lot to have something to actually find out if they were bots or not. I havent run into any ads and it only gets frustrating when it doesnt save after you finish setting up the app

On my phone the top and bottom of the app are cut off, and the app intermittently just doesnt work; at times id try to dial a number not in my contacts and it wouldnt dial, other times the calls just wouldnt connect regardless.
app is great. the support is even better. you won't find an app based company respond as quickly as this one. there was a small bug in the app and upon reaching out, they responded with a live person who worked with me to fix it in an hour instead of days or weeks. I am in real estate and now I don't worry about missing a call. the assistant will have a normal conversation to assist your caller!
HUGE waste if time. doesn't even install without a subscription. I got to setting up voicemail and was STONEWALLED by a PAY wall. they want you to PAY before you even finish setup. Tell me that this programmer isn't about anything but the money. I never even got to SAMPLE it before they wanted my money. I'm not falling for that trap. 5 seconds to take your money and then MUCH longer to get it back IF you can get it back. I've BEEN down that rabbit hole.
was a big flash in the pan about 4-5 years ago. but all these years later and still kind of an also-ran. features are too glitchy. too bad they just couldnt pull it off.
Screens calls, but always interrupts the caller to ask them to leave a message. I don't ever have the chance to read the transcription of their answer to select one of my custom responses.
This app is everything I want in a call screener. The only unfortunate thing is that you can't subscribe. They have this full page subscribe panel that opens up when you click the subscribe button but clicking on the monthly or yearly buttons doesn't actually do anything. So there's no way to actually start a subscription. I would love to give this app a full five stars, but I have gone through all of their support systems and in 3 days I've heard nothing back from them.
This app is great. I was an early adopter and beta user. Pretty much all the kinks are worked out now and it's great. Now if callers will actually pay attention to what's being said by the assistant. My favorite features are the hold button(you don't know how many times I'm just finishing up in the bathroom, or just checking out at the till at a store an just need a few moments before taking the call and don't want it going to voicemail. The other is how it handles voicemail. 2nd to none. You can type or record your own, or my favorite is upload an mp3 file as the greeting. Also reading the 1 star reviews, seems like most of it is user error. People really need to read the instructions for which carrier it'll support and how to properly uninstall when finished.
I cant believe what my assistant Robin said to someone trying to get in touch with me it was 20 screenshot long so I could figure out who was being the smart a**and it was not the one who called it was Robin....I even tried sending feedback to developers in the app but it kept telling me my email address was invalid same one I've had for 20 years. Robin should be severely reprimanded and a refund issued to me for her payroll expense
its good, missing a few features though. needs a global name for the assistant so you don't have to put it in every box needs more control over what the assistant does/says in responses needs a time window when the assistant will try to schedule a call, yes im free at 5pm, but our office is closed. needs a way to adjust how many rings before voicemail answers the call screener responds too fast and doesn't wait for my client to finish speaking. then, just tells my caller I can't answer. ug
Can't even use the app at all without paying. This app has gone downhill a lot since its creation. At one time, it was an amazing. Now, you can't use the app at all without a $50 annual subscription or paying monthly for the app. I certainly understand needing to make money, but it's pretty scummy when the original version of this app was free. I could really use this app to screen calls for my company phone, but I can't justify a constant recurring charge to my supervisors for an app.
Really enjoy the app thus far, I'm with a large local government in Software Dev (DevOps to be precise) and I work remotely and get A LOT of calls throughout the day/evening. This helps me better screen and keep track of calls so I can more effectively manage my time. Only 1 snag with the app - (which literally I had a call back from the developer in less than 24 hrs) was that the voice I selected (male) would revert back to female if the app is closed. They immediately worked on a fix! Awesome
There is no "Lite version", maybe there was in the past, but the person in charge of managing this play store page hasnt updated their 'about this app' section to reflect that change. This is the only version of this app, and this version doesn't come with call screening for free as it says in the description. You basically have to pay for everything except for normal calling functions (outgoing calls and incoming calls). And the price for a subscription is high as the price of cotton.
I want to say it's good, but it's so buggy sometimes. Getting stuck on screening a call, doesn't tell me it's still there so my battery drains like crazy, go to make a call an hour later and CallAssistant.ai says at the top go to call or hang up....wth?? When it works it works great, but some of the bugs are frustrating.
Wow! This app is truly amazing. I mean I had a few issues getting through the initial setup. I read the FAQ about conditional call forwarding because after reading the description in the play store and reviews I wanted to understand the app better before installing. It's working great! I love putting spam callers on hold! It's perfect bliss! Oh! And this is my hold music on Spotify "Hit the Road Jack"! I would love it if I could set hold music for my contacts vs non contacts.
I noticed the amount of scam and sales calls I received dropped significantly after using this app. You have a preprogrammed assistant that take calls from numbers you are unsure about. And you can see the conversation between the assistant and the person on the other line in real time through voice transcription. You can even choose to respond or decline the call. The people who work here are super helpful and respond back very quick when you are having issues. This is a really awesome app!
great concept, but needs refinement. dialer looks outdated, if you have multiple Bluetooth (watch, car, headset) while on a call you can't select which device to use, the button to switch between phone speaker and Bluetooth is glitchy on top of all that. ringtones don't work either you just get a notification when calls come in half the time. it is glitchy on voicemail service too. Just not worth the money.
I had deactivated my account due to further issues. Received a email "advertising a new interface and was willing to give it another try. Can't reactivate through the app. Nothing is simple. Tried to use the chat function in the app. Didn't work. Volte is default to on on this phone. And had WiFi off. The newly updated app was available today. They called today and made sure everything was working. And helped set it up. Best customer service by far.
Most things seem to work well on my Android except the most important part - the screener. When any caller, whether I have the contact saved or not speaks to the AI screener, the call is disconnected on my end therefore I am unable to answer or interact with the caller. All of the other features seem to work fine. However, sometimes the screener also responds in a foreign language. I have sent Lonnie Wills the CEO an email and I am hoping for a quick response and fix for this.
Don't subscribe. Customer service is non-existent. I have sent them logs on logs on logs, email to email to email. Only automated responses, no one actually contacts you back. Beware, this app is blocking your calls, you may not know it but even with the call blocking features turned off, this app is blocking your important calls. I can see it in my normal calling app because it tells me which app blocked the call. Don't give them your money.
