EVERYTHING costs money. All the advertisements that I've seen were about the AI making your voice into the cover. It cost money, 7 dollars... A WEEK. And that's only for 1 custom voice cover. This is a rip-off. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 is because it does work. Just everything is overpriced and thrown at your face 24/7.
There's no reason there's a free version of this to download for the average person that just wants to play around with it. There's not even good free options to let you know what the app does or if it's even good. It had me record 7 minutes of voice just to tell me that I needed to get premium. When I declined, it said it would give me the free voice one-time only for 15 seconds at a time, but then proceeded to delete the last 7 minutes of recording. I'm not recording 7 minutes of voice again.
I'm really sad about the quality of the AI voice. It really sounds like it's just a pitch shift. Lots of artifacting. It doesn't sound like my singing voice at all. They charge 5 dollars to use your own voice and it requires you to record 7-15 minutes of your voice to sample from. My first ai voice wasn't any good so I re recorded and they wanted another 5 dollars. That is on top of the lifetime price I paid.
Pay walls everywhere. Do NOT go through the process of recording your voice for a custom AI unless you're ready to pay $6.99/wk, otherwise your voice will be deleted and you'll have wasted over 7 minutes. They don't tell you this until AFTER you've recorded your voice, so you feel trapped into paying or immediately losing the work you just did. Shady! I didn't even test out the rest of the features, because it's probably the same situation.
The fact that the premium discount is only available before you could even use the app says a lot about the confidence behind the product. The voice selection is strange and missing a lot of options in favor of random celebrities and characters. So since they also asked to review before I could use the app, we start at one star. Update: I wish I could give zero. I did Spongybab singing Dust In The Wind. It was just the regular song minus harmony. And if I only had 15sec then there'd be no vox
Terrible app, I decided to do the premium version and after a few attempts, I get a message saying that to continue I need to upgrade when I already paid for it. Then no matter how times I changed the songs with a different link, I still play the same song with the same voice. To make matters worse, customer support responded to my email with a default message that I'm assuming goes out to everybody. When I responded back, I got the same generic response.
I was hoping I could leave zero stars but I guess I can't. This app is a total scam, it leads you down a 7-minute recording of your own voice to add to an AI cover that they say they will pay for as a free trial. After you record 7 minutes of whatever it is you wanting to put down you find out that it's going to cost you five bucks. It's just a money grab, even their support page is an email that can't be reached. Don't waste your time
I was expecting more for the price. I like the add your own voi e but it cost extra to do that and it was the reason I did the premium. So I bought both premium and my voice but can't do the AI prompt with my own voice. You have to use a song found on YouTube. Also, the AI prompt I can get a sound, but I can't add my own words within the prompt. The price doesn't match the features, basically. It will also not share the music as advertised.
It's a great concept but lacks in character selection, and everything is behind a pay wall. Plus, you have to watch an ad to only get 15 seconds of a song's intro. If you could get a full song to watch an ad or add a custom voice, then I'll change my rating until then. Sorry, but 2 stars it will remain. But I will say the interface is awesome.
I definitely see this going somewhere, but I have a lot more cons than pros. 1. Paying premium for even making your own bot is a bit bs 2. The vocal range on the Bots break if they go on any high note, which sort of ruins the entire thing. I want to hear a bot sing opera or songs from the 40s - 50s. It would be cool. Keep updating, I know it'll get there.
