After a couple weeks of using it the app pretty much has my target weight and rep ranges down. It's very nice not having to think about anything - the workout, the weights, or the reps. I can just focus on working out! I've been lifting for about 30 years (off-and-on, but mostly on) and these are by far the best workouts I've done! There's a ton of exercises I didn't even know existed or modified ways of doing ones that I've always done to hit the muscles a little differently.

Great app, I have used it for 2 months with a premium account and have already started noticing good results after 3 sessions per week. It's very handy, I like the timers and video descriptions of exercices. I would say there misses some options for exercises on machines to make it truly perfect for my usage in the gym. One suggestion: adding options for stretching at the end of workouts. I personally struggle with taking the time and doing the right ones.

Great app, well designed and with a decent premium option. I do find it frustrating that if life gets in the way and you have to skip a work out, there doesn't seem to be a way to start the week over as normal if you selected "skip". If skip is selected, it should just assume it will not be done that week, otherwise why would I select that in the first place? Other than that, I like that it suggests new goals for each lift and will build out a plan based on what your criteria is.

Great App. I create my own workout and just use it to track, instead tying in my phone's "Notes" section and using all my storage. It could use more exercises and variations though. It has a ton of exercises to choose from but often they dont have a variation of something or just a simple exercise,Band I then have to create it in the app. But, they have a Create-An-Exercise feature, so that's good too.

This is the second fitness app I've tried. I started using Alpha about 4 weeks ago to refresh my exercise routine. I like that all exercises have both written directions and video demonstrations. I also like that they offer replacement exercise options. I find this extremely useful when either equipment is otherwise being used by someone else or if I have to substitute with a home workout. I'm looking forward to seeing the results after another couple months.

The developers reached out to me, and I feel this level of customer services earned them 5 stars! Original review: Great app for guiding progress and variety of exercises. Although there is a "custom" plan it is a little cumbersome because one has to build from scratch. It would get a 5 stars if I could customize the muscle groups and days and have the app build workouts from there (there are different plans to choose from). I love the weight progression; it was exactly what I was looking for.

Abundance of resources great for beginners to experts. Keeps me motivated and on track. If life gets busy and you miss a day (or three!), this makes it easy to pick up where you left off. No guessing what exercises or weights to lift. Endlessly customizable from plans to creating your own exercises if by chance you can't find it in the extensive library. Give it a try!

Honestly, I've used several of these apps and it's always nerfed before getting the paid version. This isn't. Now, if you're a beginner who needs coaching, this won't work as well for you for that, but even some sinple YouTube searches will get you a program you can easily plug into this app and track. Keep it free like this and I'll be a user for years.

I love this app. I've been using this app for a long time, the workout builder helped me shred off 60lbs so fast I was shocking my friends and family. I recently couldn't afford the subscription (in between paychecks), and they sent a coupon for a free 14 days because I hadn't resubbed. Now I can continue to use the app and not lapse in training intensity because they actually care for their users. 100/10 best app.

App is Great, and Free Version Doesn't suck. I love that you can easily create your own splits, even exercises, and it gives you a decent estimate for your 10 rep max, assuming you're trying to get bigger thats a lot easier than what we did back in the day trying to figure it out with formulas and trial and error.

Very helpful app, I tell a lot of people to try it. My favorite feature is the videos of proper form/technique, the tips on exercises, and the images of which muscles it works. The plan setting is fantastic if you just need a routine to stick to. I'd like to see it a bit more adjustable, but it's a perfect starting point and useful tool. I love the visual that says "you stuck to your routine". The free version is great. I did pay for a year after getting more serious about lifting.

I really like this app. I like that there's over 700 different exercises, the videos are very easy to see. I like that I can make up my own exercise program, move exercises around, filter out by muscle group/equip. hate planks, but want to work abs, you will find something in this app. I'm new to workouts. 230 lbs 5'4 & this app provides no excuses and enough variety to keep me going. easy to use

This app understands progressive overload, deload weeks, and optimal rest periods. It is ideal for experienced lifters. You can swap out exercises based on the equipment available in your gym and the app will maintain the same progression stack as the original exercise, which is a big plus. I have not yet completed a 4 week cycle but , thus far, no downsides to the app. Thank you very much for this helpful product, which has eliminated the need for a complicated spreadsheet situation

The app is super helpful and is comparable to the super premium apps like RP Strength, without the extra price tag. There are a couple of things that could be improved. For example, the app should have an option not to let the phone go into sleep while the workout is ongoing, and the post-rest ready alert should be louder and more distinctive. That said, this app has some of the best, hands on, CS I have ever had, and that alone deserves this high rating. Get the app, you won't regret it.

Almost perfect. Just need a few more basic exercises. Adding swimming, boxing, jumping rope, and other cardio intense exercises would be awesome. It's important to grow skeletal muscle, but just as important to grow smooth muscle. The progression this app calculates is really good. Once in a while a wacky number of reps will pop up as a target, but it's easy enough to correct. The demo videos are great for showing proper form. I highly recommend the app for anyone serious about making gains.

This is really an amazing app for anyone's fitness journey. it's very helpful because it suggests weight increases for progressive overload, has clips of, and descriptions of the exercises you either pick/plan for yourself for have the app make one for you. it's been an amazing tool for me so far! my only complaint really would be the yearly fee is a bit much for me (even with how well this app works and helps) aside from that, it really can and will help people with their fitness goals!

Been using it for about 3 months. I like the clean interface and ease of operation. Suggestions aren't the best yet, nor the workout AI program, but its getting better. One request- please allow warmup sets and drop sets to put in how much you lifted in each. Doesn't seem to count toward tracked Volume of weight lifted and can't compare to history. Please! Seems like a vital component missing. Oh one more, please show average rest time during workout somehow like bodyspace app.

Very useful and helpful, especially with progression. However, the UI is super clunky.. I've been paying for the app for over a year and have used it consistently and figuring out where things are is always confusing to me. Not intuitive at all. Also, the notifications for rest is tied to your ringer volume, not media volume which means my ringer needs to be on. It just feels like a chore to navigate. For $12/mo, it should be way better. After a year, it's time for me to move on.

missing some exercises that I'd expect to see in such an, otherwise, extensive library. really easy to customize plans and makes tracking super simple. UPDATE: the app gets better the longer I use it. Can't believe I just figured out the plate calculator! you can enter a custom bar weight (my 7' standard bar weighs 17lbs) and specify what plates you have access to (helpful when have oddball plates like my 3&6 pounders) and the app will show you how to load the bar to achieve your target weight

I've been using this app for about a month now and let me say, this is perfect. The amount of exercises that it has so you dont have to worry about it not having it is perfect. To also have it on your phone, ease too edit, keep track of progress and what muscles you're hitting is very convenient. I really do recommend this app for your workouts.
