Reviews for Alpha Progression Gym Tracker

After a couple weeks of using it the app pretty much has my target weight and rep ranges down. It's very nice not having to think about anything - the workout, the weights, or the reps. I can just focus on working out! I've been lifting for about 30 years (off-and-on, but mostly on) and these are by far the best workouts I've done! There's a ton of exercises I didn't even know existed or modified ways of doing ones that I've always done to hit the muscles a little differently.

Great app, I have used it for 2 months with a premium account and have already started noticing good results after 3 sessions per week. It's very handy, I like the timers and video descriptions of exercices. I would say there misses some options for exercises on machines to make it truly perfect for my usage in the gym. One suggestion: adding options for stretching at the end of workouts. I personally struggle with taking the time and doing the right ones.

Great app, well designed and with a decent premium option. I do find it frustrating that if life gets in the way and you have to skip a work out, there doesn't seem to be a way to start the week over as normal if you selected "skip". If skip is selected, it should just assume it will not be done that week, otherwise why would I select that in the first place? Other than that, I like that it suggests new goals for each lift and will build out a plan based on what your criteria is.

Great App. I create my own workout and just use it to track, instead tying in my phone's "Notes" section and using all my storage. It could use more exercises and variations though. It has a ton of exercises to choose from but often they dont have a variation of something or just a simple exercise,Band I then have to create it in the app. But, they have a Create-An-Exercise feature, so that's good too.

This is the second fitness app I've tried. I started using Alpha about 4 weeks ago to refresh my exercise routine. I like that all exercises have both written directions and video demonstrations. I also like that they offer replacement exercise options. I find this extremely useful when either equipment is otherwise being used by someone else or if I have to substitute with a home workout. I'm looking forward to seeing the results after another couple months.

The developers reached out to me, and I feel this level of customer services earned them 5 stars! Original review: Great app for guiding progress and variety of exercises. Although there is a "custom" plan it is a little cumbersome because one has to build from scratch. It would get a 5 stars if I could customize the muscle groups and days and have the app build workouts from there (there are different plans to choose from). I love the weight progression; it was exactly what I was looking for.

Abundance of resources great for beginners to experts. Keeps me motivated and on track. If life gets busy and you miss a day (or three!), this makes it easy to pick up where you left off. No guessing what exercises or weights to lift. Endlessly customizable from plans to creating your own exercises if by chance you can't find it in the extensive library. Give it a try!

Honestly, I've used several of these apps and it's always nerfed before getting the paid version. This isn't. Now, if you're a beginner who needs coaching, this won't work as well for you for that, but even some sinple YouTube searches will get you a program you can easily plug into this app and track. Keep it free like this and I'll be a user for years.

I love this app. I've been using this app for a long time, the workout builder helped me shred off 60lbs so fast I was shocking my friends and family. I recently couldn't afford the subscription (in between paychecks), and they sent a coupon for a free 14 days because I hadn't resubbed. Now I can continue to use the app and not lapse in training intensity because they actually care for their users. 100/10 best app.

App is Great, and Free Version Doesn't suck. I love that you can easily create your own splits, even exercises, and it gives you a decent estimate for your 10 rep max, assuming you're trying to get bigger thats a lot easier than what we did back in the day trying to figure it out with formulas and trial and error.
