I just purchased a subscription and am a little frustrated by poor usability. I was watching a show and it minimized the show into a thumbnail near the end while it's still playing. Also, at the end of an episode you can't select play next. Instead, you have to back out and find the next episode on the app. The website isn't much better. I'm happy with the selection, the lack of ads, so it's more of a minor complaint, but still annoying.

If you want to search for something, the app goes offline. If you want to go to settings, the app goes offline. If you want to continue watching what you finally were allowed to watch... The app either goes offline or fails to connect etc... Why?!... just why can't I get through at least one click or one full episode/movie without this happening... This is infuriating.

I enjoy that I can make a list. However , I absolutely hate that I can't see what's on the live channels, there is no titles given and it's always a mystery what you're watching. No guide, no nothing. I used to use the AMC+on the Roku channel and I loved it so much more, layout and all. Only thing I couldn't do was make a list. I also don't like how in the descriptions, years aren't given. Most of the time I can't even get live to even load. Such a shame for the price you pay

First, I would like to start off by saying I paid for the ad free version and still get 30 seconds of amc ads every time I start a new show. False advertising for the Ad free version. Second, I was at a friend's trying to cast to a TV. The cast button is grayed out, so I couldn't cast. Then i did a smartview from my phone, and the show would play for a few seconds. Then, the app would say it couldn't play the video. Third please fix the aforementioned because I enjoy your programs.

Constantly crashes, slow, isn't the easiest to use. There's no way to access the show you're watching except from the continue watching page or to search it. If you want to go back an episode, you have to search the show and go the long way. And even though I pay for "ad free", I still see ads. I don't care what you want to call it, if it plays before I can watch my show, and it's advertising something they own, it's considered an ad😒 at least give me the option to skip them

Do not buy! Worst streaming app! Pauses and disconnects from streaming to TV constantly. And if you need closed captioning (CC) do not use this platform! Subtitles show for the first sentence and then are stuck. When you stop watching mid-show and you reopen app, it doesn't show you where you left off as far as far as the last shows you watched. You have to go to the search bar and type in the title of the show. Not worth the $, wait for Netflix.

I can't get past the main selection! This app worked fine when I first subscribed to a year's worth of service, but after the first few weeks of watching it I can't seem to access any of the shows or movies!!! I keep getting an error message saying two exceptions occurred. That's crazy and obsurd!!! What a waste of money! I want a refund on ALL the days I have not been able to access this appt, I feel like I've been robbed of my money. My contract with them should be honored in whole.

It took me a total of 3 days to be able to finish one episode. That's because the app kept glitching and then stopping, it stopped working if I raised the volume from my phone, it stopped working if I turned on the caption and usually after a couple of minutes, it just stopped working because why not. I have uninstalled it and re-installed several times... Didn't help. And even though I paid for ad free content, an ad still played before the episode, with no problems. This app deserves 0 stars.

Have to go through loops to cancel. I subscribed for trial, got emails about the subscription. Then when I tried to sign in to cancel trial my email didnt exist. chat support said there was a typo but they fixed it. I was able to cancel trial but didnt get an email confirmation because of the "typo". Yet when I first subscribed I got a few emails about what to watch, etc. Just very odd and not an easy process to access account information.

Decent selection of shows and movies, especially with Shudder. However, where other apps have the mini player when I go back to my home screen, this one does not. Really frustrating from a paid app. Also, I paid for the ad-free version and AMC+ plays their own unskippable ads every time I start watching something. That's really annoying, too. App seems to work fine otherwise, but I've only been using it for a couple of days.

It was a 5. Til it wasn't. Entering day 2 of no service, no explanation, no idea when it wilI resume. I can find no means of contact, so, ratings it is. The app has worked well, simple to navigate & search. 85% of what is available are films and series I like, which is why I choose to spend my wee savings on this app. The live options are all great - but those commercials breaks are torture. If you must play the same ads over and over, don't choose the most obnoxious ones.

I had a free trial and could not for the life of me just sign in on my Roku. I tried everything there was, multiple times. I had to stream this through Prime Video. Even the damn mobile app was unusable. After a few days of installing it straight up would not let me look at anything on there. The only thing that kept popping up were subscription plans. Keep in mind, I literally had a free trial and would have kept having a subscription but since it kept doing this I just gave up and uninstalled.

Very poor at syncing with my wifi. After nearly every commercial break, it freezes. I have to then disconnect and reconnect to resume watching my show. One might think it could be the wifi router, but all of the other streaming services (Disney+, Netflix, Max, Prime, Paramount, Hulu, ESPN+, ...) work just fine

when put on pause, restart the show, every half second it constantly stops. I have to shut it off and get AMC back on and it takes me back to the beginning of the series instead of where I was on last. this is so damn annoying. I'm not even able to go in the series to see where I was at. All it does is play the some current series. now I cannot get it to play. It just freezes and also freezes my phone. something needs to be done here immediately!!!

I was so very excited when I bought the app. I absolutely love The Walking Dead universe and the Shudder channel. Unfortunately, after about a week it stopped working. It takes 10 to 20 minutes to load the app on my T. V. And then IF I do get it to load a show. It plays for about 20 minutes and then just cuts off. I thought it was my internet service. No this is the only app one my t v that doesn't work! So disappointed! Now I can't figure out how to cancel! WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME!

I'm doing a free trial, and it keeps stopping multiple times during a 45 min show. I have to keep disconnecting from the tv and going back into it. I can tell you now I'm not keeping the subscription after the free trial. It's very frustrating! It seems to be mostly during the commercials which is kind of convenient I feel like. It's probably their way of trying to get you to pay more for no commercials lol.

The navigation in this app is clumsy to the point of being unprofessional. I got the app + subscription specifically to rewatch The Walking Dead, but most of The Walking Dead series is not on it. Orphan Black is, so I decided to finish that series instead, as I just had 9 episodes of Season 5 to go. Episode 4 had multiple audio dropouts. I had to restart the episode several times, even on high-speed Wi-Fi. This is the single worst streaming app I have ever used. I would give 0 stars if I could.

Like others are saying - the app no longer works. It will open to the dark screen and spin the blue line in a circle endlessly, but won't load beyond that. So it's unusable/unwatchable. And given they are going to be increasing the price in January, that's entirely unacceptable. When you go to the support website and click on the link for the contact form - it just sends you to the same page on the Shudder support site, that is also unhelpful.

The format of this app is not great. There isn't an option to select "next episode" so you have to fast forward through the credits to get to the next one. Also if I want to navigate to a specific season and episode you have to go through a whole search process just to do that instead of just being able to pull up a menu to the side/bottom of the show. Not user friendly in my opinion.

I hate this app! when ever I pause a show for longer than a min it stops working. when I push play again I get the oops something went wrong error message. sometimes going to a different app like Netflix and playing a show there for a few seconds b4 I jump back will fix it. Most of the time however, I have to completely sign out of the app and sign back in again. Don't tell me it's my internet speed. I got gig speed and all the other streaming apps work just fine.
