Been using the Amex app for a couple months now. It’s basically a finance app that lets you manage your American Express account on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into tracking your spending and rewards.

Here’s what you can do: check your balance, pay your bill, freeze your card if it gets lost or stolen. There’s also some cool features like activating your card for Apple Pay right in the app. And you can get notified about new offers, which is pretty handy.

Look, if you have an Amex card, you’ll probably get a lot of use out of this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it gets the job done. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to manage your Amex account on the go.

So here's my take on the Amex app. I've tested a bunch of finance apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The core features work well and it's convenient to have everything in one place. The security stuff like freezing your card is really useful. But I do find the UI a bit outdated and cluttered at times. And the notifications for new offers can get a little spammy. Still, if you use Amex regularly, this is a pretty essential app to have on your phone.
