Reviews for Amplified Bible offline

It is an excellent Bible that was very helpful to me when I had it on my old phone. But I have been trying to install is on my new Huawei phone without success. It was successfully downloaded but refused to install. What shall I do please.

I just started using this app and it's so easy to navigate and I enjoy the ability to have it read to me! Great program and I highly recommend giving it an honest try❤️🙌🙏

could have been a great application but plagued with many errors. Referenced passages do not correspond. verses explanations don't correspond. totally misplaced. you still have a lot of work to do.

I have found to be very usiful in my daily life with some daily verses and I can read nicely but the most important thing is the use of voice. I havent seen any app than this one with few ads which makes my life easier to read and saves my time because this app like free from ads

Love this app so so much,, feel so happy going through it with ease, it is very easy to use. I will recommend this to my friends and family.is indeed a good one, I've searching for an Amplified Bible offline like this for a long time all to no avail, but thank God i have this now. This app is meant to show Bible chapters and verses. And even if adds are displayed, I think they are meant to be adds, that promote Biblical lessons and values. Unfortunately, what I saw displayed here, is nothing that promotes immorality, nudity and unholy appearances. This is indecent and I'll suggest you look at this suggestion and remove any indecent adds. Thank you.

What I don't like about it is after a chapter have to go back and select new chapter instead of continuous reading. But maybe that's just me being grouchy because we live in a imperfect world. I like the amplified version and I should be greatful and thankful I can study the Word without hiding and in fear. God Bless us all

why are the ads about sex sites popping as I am reading, I dont have much to say on others peoples jobs. its none of my business, though for this app its not right. for belivers it could be temptation, they are reading the word to become stronger & such pop-ups appear beneath. you accept the advertising for business, you need to be uncompromising to certain things. you can't say yes to all money making routes for your business & this is msg is not for that pop-up site, at all. Having been baptised 6 years ago and still learning, I was overwhelmed with the different bible versions around. The Amplified version is quicker to access and easier to understand. And also gives a good description of the 'whys and what for's'.

Efficient app. The 'notes' feature is great. However, I suggest there should be an icon for Notes much like the one for Bookmarks because a person may forget the particular scripture notes were made on. so a place to see all your notes will be awesome

Changed my rating from 5 to 3 because there is no option to go to a specific verse within the chosen chapter. This would be especially helpful in long chapters. I know it can be done because I have other Bible apps that do it. Also, I can't figure out how to access the notes. Is it even possible? Some instructions would be helpful. And gambling/casino ads in a BIBLE app??!? TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE@

PROS- Finally an amplified bible that's OFFLINE!...... Haven't found another app to do that. You can add notes, change to night/day mode increase front size, Copy and/ or Share verses, share by Facebook too, highlight/bookmark texts, add to favorites. Good explanation within text and other bible references at the ends of verses. CONS- >>>The reading of the texts by the app is awful...robot voice and no where does it give you the option to change speed....etc as per the description states. I'll stick to bible gateway app for that talking feature. 5 stars to fix that and the option to get rid of ads! I see no way to get rid of ads so I contacted the dev. Hopefully they respond.

Just love the notes embedded in text.. So can read the text and the notes at same time.. Also the fact that each verse can be copied individually and access to notes.. Individually.. I love this Bible app.. Only thing missing now is the ability to underline and highlight a word in text.. Like light for eg. So that the word stands out if doing a Bible study... And also a couple of commentaries thrown in will make it fantastic.. But thanku. Really grateful for this particular version of the Ampli.

I truly enjoyed the language of the previous version. While I appreciate the added notes in the updated - I think would be better placed as endnotes so as not to disrupt the visual flow of reading. The updates have now moved it from amplified to simplified. The hardcore meaning of scripture does not come home with the impact of the previous version.

Amplified with Jesus words in red letters is an amazing piece of work representing an amazing team work. It is concise, detailed, adequate & sufficient one app like many especially with the added dictionary as favours. More grace, anointing and kudos. Do keep the good work and the fire burning. Why congest my phone, tab, notebook or laptop with many versions when one app got it all? Keep updating to keep it best of all times and seasons (dispensation)

Nice to have this available. But I can not return to the home page, or exit the app, have to use the option on my phone when closing all recent aps, that's not cool. And I can't save my favorite verse / book, even if I click on the bookmark tab, it indicates that it's saved, but when I check,... Nothing there. Please fix this.

i am enjoying the app its just good helps me to understand because of the explanations and the cross references, its just good. if you can just add a function where it takes you back to where you were reading after clicking on a cross reference, yaa it does not do that you will have to search again where you were reading, but its the best Bible app i have ever used, thank you for the good work

It's an offline Bible, which is very useful. They have comments of where certain passages came from which adds to the legitimacy of the interpretation. The one option I think would be useful is if the share on facebook widget was removed. That would make the text more compact and I would feel more comfortable reading it. But overall it's good

It's great.. we could enable copying more than one verse at a time

This Bible is easy to understand, and the extra compared with ref chapters helps me follow the Bible in receipts and line by line.
