The coupons don't work. This app is trash. It has flash deals and freebies, but when you try to redeem them, it doesn't work and they want to charge you. Cashiers won't do anything about it and just say "no free" in their foreign accent, even if I show them the app with the coupon showing clear as day. Don't even waste your time with this garbage!

I sympathize with employees when they have customers that are not as understanding and they can do to adjust the price. I have paid full price or $1 more that labeled on items I only got for the sale (every $1 counts when on limited income with unemployment rate as high as it has been during this pandemic).
The worst app I've ever used!. First off, it FORCES you to give your location, or it will not open. You cannot select your location. Secondly, there is an endless "Verification" when trying to register. They send you a "Verification" e-mail, then once you verify, they send "Verification" codes, and no matter what you select for a password, it keeps looping back to change your password. It will not accept the password, just forces you to change it. And keep changing it while never allowing access
It was previously one of my favorite apps and I actually altered my commute a few months ago to pass by an ampm because I started going there so much. However, after the recent update, it almost never can connect to the server, and if it does, I'll play the scratch game, see 3 presents, and then get an error that it's unable to complete the transaction. So a scratch deducted from my account and nothing awarded, major bummer! Here's hoping they fix it soon!
4/17/19 Great for a snack, if you win what you want. 10/10/19 After two of the recent updates, the app just doesn't work right. When I'm near an ampm, the same distance or within the building before, the app won't connect. When it decides to work, any of the offers I have disappear, "not connected to server". By the time I'm away the items suddenly come back. Disappointed 11/25/19 Still trouble
So after days of trial and error I finally got the app to work and it was going fine. Then it updated. If you're considering getting the app, don't bother because it's not even worth the hassle now. The prizes are super rare now, you only get one chance to win a day unless you pay money, and to top it off the prizes you rarely win are only available for 3 days and then it's gone. Before the update you had around 3 weeks to redeem your prize. Uninstalling permanently for sure.
Pretty simple to use. It's easier to earn and redeem the free rewards, which is hassel free at check out. Just make sure you're paying attention to how the app is applying your rewards to which free item you want. I use the coffee buy 1 get 1 (at this time) and if you have 1 more cup to buy before your next free drink, but currently have a free scratcher coffee reward. You can't tell the app to hold off on your free stuff for later. It'll automatically use it the next time you're getting one.
App forced update. Update lost all tickets and items in wallet. Free items once won from scratcher you have 2 days to claim. Would be better if was a week. And now I can't even login. Tried making new account and nothing happens. Will update review once I can get back into the app and use it again. Otherwise it is waste of data and personal information like location if not using it.
Awful. Please just bring back paper punch cards. Tech is not your friend. It's not a cashiers job to figure out why this app is slow and not working at all. I just spent 30 min trying to log Back in, after I was forced logged out. After some mandatory releases of more of my info. And 4 email links that did not open. So disappointing. GO TO 7-11.
Bait and Switch app. Multple times I have used this app for a discount and not gotten the discount. Just this morning I was lured into the store for a $0.99 cent cup of coffee. Instead I was charged full price which was $2.29! I also bought two packs of smokes, discount was supposed to be $1.70, no discount. So $3.00 more to shop at AM/PM. This isn't the first time. Big huge marketing ads claiming $0.99 icee with app. Get to the register $2.49. Cashiers can't help. "App not working again"
It doesn't work. There are deals listed. There are deals in the store. Scan my app, what do you think happened? Nothing. No discount. Attendant scanned the app 6 times with a line forming behind me and nothing. He says sometimes that happens and he doesn't know why or how to fix it because he does not do tech. He was as polite as he could be given he was alone in the store and it was filling up with people. I still did not get a single deal on the three I should have gotten with my purchase.0/10
The app does not work for me at all. It won't even log me in and I've tried the forgot password, etc. And it doesn't send me a code via text nor email. I then tried to create a new account and same thing. No code sent to phone or reset email. But funny thing is, I get notifications left and right about deals, etc. I just can't get in to use the damn thing. Blah.
cool idea for a rewards program. I kind of like the whole scratcher thing in an app. with that said the UI is intuitive yet simple enough for ANYONE to fall right into using it. I think it is too empty, meaning not enough going on. but I appreciate the am/pm company making this app. it's worth while to use. and a small file for a fast download. keep up the good work guys. It must be doing its job. Its got me pulling it up and using almost everyday. I know chances are I WILL get something free
The people here are cool. This location. I have the luck of always showing up on their breaks. Do not come around 2am, you'll be waiting til about 2:35. And regarding the app, I am almost positive I used to win more items when it was the monster icon for the online app sweepstakes. I don't drink coffee so that would better if it was "any small coffee or small drink".
I've been kicked out off my account 2 times. First time I was okay no problem try to go back in wouldn't let me had to start a new account. Had it for a couple of months now for that past 4weeks. It did it again. I can't long in again. I uninstalled in and reinstalled it to see if that would fix the issues. But still hasnt let me in my account it keeps giving me an error message. Please help or fix it I'm always going into the ampm. To get drinks and stuff. And I'm missing out on free stuff.
Ever since the update it's gone down hill, POINTLESS to have it now. STILL don't work hafe the time, need to scan several times. It was like this before they updated it; they changed the app it don't work as it did before. Meaning not as many gifts or wins I'm at the point where I'm going to remove the app. I used to go to three, four different ampms A day would win coffee all the time I haven't won anything for that matter. Now they want you to buy something. Gas don't count to get a scratcher.
The app is good, it works 99% of the time with no issues. The rewards program is just ok, though. They do give you quite a few free items when you first sign up with the potential to earn more quite frequently-if you remember to have the clerk scan your barcode every time. The few times I've used it the clerk acts like it's an issue, or I'm charged tax on my "free" item. There also needs to be an option to scan a receipt in later to get points, or type a phone number in at the register.
Horrible. Bait and switch tactic. Like they say "Download our app and look at all the things you can get...for free!" So I downloaded it and actually had free items on the app, some are one-off prizes, some are only on certain days of the week. Alright, that's cool. But, no! It's all a lie. 4 times now, I have gone into different AM/PM locations to get an item that I have "free" in my app. 4 times I have gotten NOTHING. Not once, have I gotten any of them. I used to buy stuff there, NOT ANYMORE!
Totally useless. I'm not getting the redbull deals anymore. I have to check out separately with the reward items only or if it's with any items I have to pay for the reward items charge full price. I've uninstall and reinstall several times. Employees at the store said they've hear the same issue from other customers. Not sure what changed in the last few months but it's not working like it did.
I gave it 5 stars, then it acted like it reset and asked me all my birthday info stuff again, and then the load screen continued circling for over 5 minutes without making it into the app. Two days ago, it was a 5 star app. Today, I can't use it if it won't load. The employees app wouldn't load either. Apparently, several customers came in with the same issue. Please fix your app, ampm. I loved it! The deals were awesome until they couldn't be accessed.
