Description
I’ve been using the Amtrak app for a couple months now. It’s basically an all-in-one tool for managing your Amtrak travel. You can book tickets, check train status, find station info – basically everything you need for your trip.
The app’s got some pretty cool features. You can save credit cards for quick checkout, and there’s this handy eTicket thing where you just show your ticket on your phone instead of printing it out. Real time-saver. And the train status updates are super useful – you can see if your train’s running on time or if there are any delays.
Look, if you take Amtrak a lot, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times and the app crashes more than I’d like. But overall it gets the job done and makes managing your travel a lot easier. I’d recommend it.
Editor Opinion
I've tested a bunch of travel apps and the Amtrak one is pretty solid. The core functionality works well - booking tickets, checking schedules, finding station info. The eTicket feature is super convenient too. The app does have its issues though. I've found the UI can be a bit confusing to navigate at times, and it's crashed on me a few times which is annoying. But for frequent Amtrak riders, this is a pretty useful tool that saves you a lot of hassle.
