good app, cheap subscription prices and i appreciate that there are subscription options for 1 and 6 months. i think i'd really like it for there to be an option to save different full body models, because sometimes it takes a bit to hide and color code specific parts like muscles and tendons to get the view you want. not a dealbreaker of course, but itd be a nice touch!
Reviews for Anatomyka - 3D Anatomy Atlas
← Back to Anatomyka - 3D Anatomy AtlasI am a first year Medical Student. Anatomy is the main subject in the first year. I have tried nearly all the anatomy apps on Playstore. This app is by far the best one by miles. No other app comes close to this. The notes are very good too. They should include short introductory videos of the bones and muscles, insertions and origins. Only one thing I found a bit lacking is when you try to rotate or flip the bone. It's not easy to control. Other than that this app is perfect.
Amazing app visually. I love the UI and tools available to learn from. The only issue I have are some small errors in the English version for example repetition of information in areas where it isn't applicable...e.g the innervation of a muscle being indicated as the muscle's origin of attachment. I know it's a big thing to ask but could you perhaps review the app for these small mistakes then I'll definitely give a 5 star rating😁⭐
It's a great app. I bought the lifetime subscription as I assumed it came with quizzes etc. Not the developer's fault, but I do think $70 is pricey for what it is. Some of the nomenclature is different to what's used in my course which makes it confusing. But the app itself would have taken some serious development which I can respect. Overall pretty happy.
Amazing app and graphics. Congratulations for your work. I got the free trial but was disappointed to see there is no female anatomy information. Reading your replies to other reviews I understand that there is a lot to work on and it takes a lot of time to develop for only 2 people. I'm a radiology student and for now the skeletal system is enough for me. I think it's really kind of you to put it out for free. I would also truly like if there was a feature to undo the last action.

This app is a little tedious to navigate and uses a lot of resources to run... However, after subscribing for a year and now buying a lifetime version; I can say that it is definitely worth it. It's worth even if you don't pay, the free segments on the skeleton itself is of great quality. The paid version has a lot of benefits, which I don't make use of all the time but the ones I do use– I'm very content with. Try it out!
chill app but they don't refund ur purchases whether accidental purchase or not which is really unfair
Easy to navigate, fairly priced. The skeletal system is very comprehensive, other systems less so but apparently that's work in progress. The UI is snappy on a modern smartphone. Deserves 5 stars. Updated to 4 as as it stands it is incomplete, there is no endocrine or limphatic system for example. In more than one year no update to the contents.
Anatomyka is a simple and fun app for learning human anatomy. It shows the body in 3D so you can see how bones, muscles, and organs fit together. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND IT!
The app is excellent, except for the part of neuroanatomy. They haven't included the brain in the app. Also, we cannot see the cross sections of organs. The female reproductive system is not available. Surface anatomy is not available. In spite of all these, subscription fee is very high, nevertheless it is worth it. The app is very useful for medical students.
It's a great app. It has made my studies way easier. To be able to isolate a bone, turn it in whatever direction you want, so you get a good visualisation of all those theory classes you follow in first year, its incredible! I would recommand it to all the students who are bored of same old old books and no visuals. Also big thanks to the editors, even without mothly subscription i can still use it for all the osteology classes. Planning to get in premium really soon. Thank you😊
Great idea, nice rendering and effects, great amount of information, but the UI has a room for a lot of improvements. Let's take the camera and POI setting for example. Orbiting (incl. zoom) is done fairly well, but when I move the camera I expect the POI also to move and not reset once I orbit the camera again. Basically, I couldn't find any way to chamge the POI in a meaningful way. Also, you are on mobile, let's use the Android shortcuts (like back). Great effort, sooo close!
It's a really good app. Does exactly what it says. Not all of the systems of the body are free, but you are able to unlock systems of the body for a few minutes by watching an (inoffensive) ad. Worth downloading if you want to study anatomy or use it as a model for figure drawing.
So far good! I have liked having this for 3d models for my class. I am only using the free version and I am considering looking into the full when future units start that aren't covered by the free. From what I can tell, skeletal system seems to be the only thing included in the free but it is very in depth and has been useful. Wish the whole thing were free but 🤷♂️ what can you do
Amazing anatomy app. Extremely useful hide and fade features to see muscle or whatever you're trying to look at and what its connected to. Very helpful to find everything I need to study for personal trainer, which is nearly every bone, muscle, respiratory system, cardiac system, and their movement and purpose. Not sure if the heart will be included to show blood flow, but it's a great app. I'm sure it will come in handy to show them what muscle they need to work, etc. Thanks for your hard work.
I am constantly looking for tools to help my clients. I researched and tried several apps and by far Anatomyka was the best. I love the detail, being able to layer, isolate, zoom and deep dive into what each section or part is and has many other tools. It worked so well, I decided to get a tablet and ran into some issues with it recognizing my subscription. These were on my part, however, Ivan was fast to respond, very helpful and very patient and resolved my issue. All that and at 10.99 for the year! I am very happy and highly recommend!!
Pretty good app, but definitely lots of room to improve. Even though I paid, there is a stupid message popping up, reminding me that I'm in a free version until there is internet or something like that. Also, there needs to be a way to view more than one bone and pertinent landmarks at one time. For instance, one should be able to view tibia, fibula, and their landmarks in one isolated plane.
I love this app, I use it for anatomy reference when I draw. The ability to fade, hide muscles and isolate the different muscles to see where they connect is phenomonal. I wish they'd add the female skeleton, as well as adding a feature that lets you move the model so I could see how the muscles look stretched and posed. Other than that it's amazing.
As an artist I think this is a great app and the color coding is incredible. My only complaint and I hope it gets updated is that there is no female anything. There's differences in hip bones for instance and different placement of fat pads as well as the obvious breast. I will gladly subscribe once there's a female anatomy as well as the male but all in all a good app.
