Reviews for AndroPods – Airpods on Android

It barely works. It does the bare minimum for the airpods to android experience, and to simply get the features an apple phone would already have is required to PAY for. The app also says that it tracks the battery of the case and the buds themselves, but my airpods have been fully charged and the app claims that the case is still at 0% and my airpods are at 65%, so I'm confused on how to recalibrate the device and the app. I don't recommend.

Bought the full version and have had nothing but problems. Music and show apps randomly stop even when not connected to airpods as well as car bluetooth. You have to press play on whatever you're watching. To add, half of the time the "premium" features don't work so when you pull the airpod out it just keeps going and the percentages for the pods are wrong.. Uninstalled the app and no more problems with pausing. Yikes

App barely does the job. I need to open and close the case repeatedly and wait in order to see the information. I even bought the Pro version of the app so I can have the auto pause and auto play when removing and replacing in my ears, but keeping the service activated all the time for that drains the case battery extremely quickly. When I had it on it was nearly dead in a day but with it off except for when I check the battery levels I don't need to charge the case more than 1-2 times a week

Better than nothing. I really like the concept. Only really annoying thing is the battery pencentages that change from 5% to 45% back to 95%. This seems to occur for both buds and the case. Also, I paid for the pro version but the options that allow you stop sound when buds are taken out glitch quite a bit. I had to turn them off for now since music keeps pausing without actually taken the buds out. If these are fixed in the future, 5 star no doubt. Ty!

I paid for the pro. Not worth it. I needed noise cancelation & finding lost buds. It doesn't have it. It shows the battery percentage of the case and each earphone But not in the app- you actually have to open the case for a pop up to show up and see. The app itself doesn't show anything. It says it has ear detection. Didnt try this one out yet. But mostly , I lost my left bud.. this app was useless.

Very good, would be perfect if the notification went away automatically after putting away airpods instead of having to deactivate service in app or in the tiles. I don't like putting away my airpods and still seeing that notification there and having to manually make it go away. Other than that, the app is amazing and a step ahead of everyone else. Another thing I would like would be the option to not have the app in the notification bar and only appear when you bring down the notification tray

Worked well for a while until it just stopped working. I bought the pro version, and it stopped working after about a month. It would consistently pause and unpause whatever I was watching/listening to and wouldn't show me battery info. It would also just not open or crash all the time. When battery info was shown it would switch between 5% 20% and 85% every 2 seconds. I DO NOT recommend this

This app really doesn't do anything at all. When the app is activated my airpods keep disconnecting from Bluetooth every two minutes. When I turn the app off, they work great. Also the charge percentages ate wrong. My airpods are brand new and your app tells me after being plugged into a charger all night, they are only 35%. I paid for pro, I want a refund!

I was going to upgrade to the pro version but then I realized most of the features don't work. First of all, the pop up window. I use airpod pros 2nd generation, but when I opened the case and the window showed up, it doesn't show any thing indicating that it's charging. No green no nothing it shows as if it's always dead. Not to mention the notification didn't even pop up most of the time. Another problem is the notification. The icon ALSO stays stuck on 0 no matter what. Please consider this.

Very unreliable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Pretty much 50/50. If I take any earphone out, it MIGHT pause playback, or it might not. Or it might even START playback! And double-tapping rarely works. Sometimes it calls up Google Assistant like it should, and sometimes it does but without making any sound (so I have no idea if it worked or not without looking), and sometimes it doesn't do anything, and other times, it reverts to the original Pause / Unpause behavior.
