The app is great for only 2 of the many functions. Video andnchat group. I wish we could use the pictures section. I wish this would allow me to take pics in the live feed. The app seems to have locked me android out from even doing a screen shot.
Reviews for Angel Eye Mobile
← Back to Angel Eye MobileUpdate: looks like since I got logged out while the camera was rotated it locked the app on the log in screen rotated as well. Restarted the app and it works fine. Camera worked once. The biggest issue is that the app won't rotate. The reset password link is on top of the submit password link and I can't log back in. At this point it is unusable.
Due to the app auto rotating the screen I have to log out of the app and back into the app AND log in every time! Very annoying for when I just want to check in on my baby. It's a big inconvenience for us moms with babies in the NICU- we are sleep deprived, emotional and would greatly appreciate the app not timing out all the time. Also, the video is very glitchy with movement. I understand the time lag- just be aware it's about a minute behind
loaded the app in the app won't let me log in and keeps telling me that there's an error in to check my connection if I log in on the web it's just fine... I love love love being able to see my baby anytime I'm not in the NICU with him but it would be nice if I could use the app to see if there's more features to be used.... It would be nice to be able to leave comments for the nurse the nurse be able to leave comments for the parent as well
We love the idea of this app. It's so nice to check in on our babies in the NICU. The biggest problem is having multiples in this app. Camera A for Baby A works fine, however when trying to pull up camera B for Baby B it shuts down right away. The only way to see Baby B is if we pull up that camera first, and that's if it wants to cooperate. Our babies have switched rooms/cameras and this has happened every time leaving us to believe it's an issue with the app not the cameras themselves.
It is more of an operator issue than anything else. Too much of the time I cannot see my baby boy on the feed. Either they will move the camera off of him for what ever reason and when Done it does not get put back on him where we cam see him. And also many blackout periods for too long before they come back up on line.
This app sucks. It makes you login multiple times. Freezes all the time and is generally just a pain. Update: it's bad enough that my child is in the hospital, that fact is compounded by forcing me to use this terrible app. It NEVER logs in on the first try. Touch ID rarely works. The camera in my child's room crashes all the time. I think it would have been better to not tell me a camera was available. These experiences are on both Android and iPhone. Terrible app.
Doesn't work! You have to log in every single time you open the app and the video never loads. I wish I could give this 0 stars. They clearly need better people working in their IT department because the ones they have currently don't know how to fix bugs in an application.
When the app worked, it provided a clear and constant video of my child. However, the app only worked successfully 75% of the time whenever I logged in. The other 25% of the time the app had significant lag, or it never loaded, or it froze/crashed moving from landscape mode to portrait. There's definitely room for improvement.
Can't log in. Fingerprint scanner it annoying. Sometimes it works as it's expected to, most times it just does absolutely nothing. So i'll close the app and try entering my password. Now it saying my password is incorrect. Reset the password, same issue! I just want to check on my baby! I loved the peace of mine checking in on my baby while she's in the NICU and still be home to care for my other children, but this app makes it so pointless. It rarely works. 😔
This app is awful! It constantly crashes, leaving you unable to log in at times for an extended amount of time. When using your fingerprint to sign in, you have to do it repeatedly before it works, and that's if it works at all. I don't know what happened between February when I started using the app and now, but it's gotten substantially worse in recent weeks. It's extremely frustrating.
New hardware robbed us of seeing our baby when we can't be with her. It doesn't work in low light conditions for a preemie. It can't see through the isolette. Even when it gets positioned just right it's blurry and it makes my baby look like a ghost because it only works in infrared. The old camera was perfect. I've stopped using the app. I'm heartbroken.
What a wonderful app! Any family member can have acces to "visit" your baby, even if they're in a different country. The only thing is the color of the video it's weird but other than that i have not had any problems with it. I read some reviews about people using android are having trouble with this app, but I use android and have been lucky I guess. 😅
Doesn't even let me log in at all. I can log in on the web just fine but every single time I try to log in on the app, it gives me the error "There was an error processing your request. Please make sure you are connected to a stable network and try again later." Same thing for my spouse's account.
Would give it a 5 star if A. There wasn't a buffering pause every time I open the video, and B. If I could more easily toggle between my son & daughter's cameras. We had twins and we need to constantly back out of the video only to open the other camera. Would be easier if we could swipe right and left or something between their screens. Otherwise, this is a great app for friends and family to look in on your little ones!
About the only issue I have is when I try to log in and it is stuck in landscape mode, and the "log in" button is superimposed over the "forgot password" button and I can't log in without it taking me to the "forgot password" page. I love being able to see my sweet grandson! One other teensy suggestion would be an option to stay logged in or use biometrics rather than typing in the password each time
the app asks for email address..and when I put the email I use to login on the browser angel eye ..it says "There was an error processing your request. Please make sure you are connected to a stable network and try again later" I tried it in different times and different devices ... the app is literally not working
Barely functional - needs attention to UI detail and login reliability. Fingerprint login tends not to do anything. Connecting to the stream seems to get stuck, needing repeated attempts. Other screens and lists (discharge materials, etc) just get stuck loading as well. Pretty sure the camera hardware is a Raspberry Pi with an OV2640 glued to it. But hey, the thing technically works and at least we are able to get a glimpse of our child every so often.
Very clunky app for today's available technology. As a parent of a child in the NICU, I look forward to every opportunity to spend gazing on my new child. It amazes me that the nurses have no real-time manner to ensure the child is visible in the frame. More times than not (after uninstalling and reinstalling the app so I can login in the first place), I get a great video of the wall accoutrement rather than my child. Now, all of a sudden, the video is black/white instead of color. Step up!
It is a great app to have! However, on Androids, once you sign in once, you can't sign in again without restarting your phone. Something about the landscape mode doesn't work. Also, it would be nice if the password actually saved (it gives you the option to save but it doesn't work), so you. Don't have to retype it every time.
