Reviews for Annabel Karmel Kids Recipes

I love this app, it has an endless selection of meal options for babies at any stage of weaning. I particularly love the search option, which you can search for a particular ingredient or age group. I also have one of Annabel's wearing books, which I love, but the app makes it so much easier and quicker.

Good range of recipes but so many problems with them! Incomplete methods and / or ingredients list, some places have ingredients listed twice with two different quantities so it's a guessing game to which is correct, and loads of recipes don't say which age they are suitable for which is so unhelpful!! Would love for them to sort these issued as then the app would be great and so useful.

I pay monthly for this app. Initially it was great to use, had an age guide, whether it could be frozen etc on each recipe. Recently however the app has become very glitchy, parts of ingredients/method missing, it no longer gives an age guide on individual recipes or whether it's suita le for freezing. The name of the dish might suggest a specific ingredient yet when you click on the ingredients it's not listed. Very disappointing app at present.

Dangerous! Recipes are in age categories & errors have led to recipes being in the wrong age categories. Meaning children from 6 months have recipes that include honey - a huge NO! Also sugar & that's just in one recipe. The team advised it's an error. I would be cautious of other ingredients etc. You don't pay for an app to have to Google each recipes ingredients to ensure they are OK. You would trust the research & reputation of the app which you cannot. Very Dangerous & not user friendly!

Having nearly subscribed to a similar app (based in America) which is £14 a month!! This is genuinely amazing for anyone weaning a baby. Whether puree or baby led weaning, you'll find a tonne of nutritious recipes. It also has an allergy calendar tracker which is really handy for tracking which allergens you've tested, when and if theres been any reactions. my favourite feature is that you can search different foods and ot tells you how they should be served safely depending on baby age. 5* App.

First time mam using this app. I found it so helpful. It has a very clear and simple layout which allows you to select recipes for whatever part of your weaning journey you are on. I especially like the feature where you can enter ingredients that you might have at home and it will give you some recipe options All the receipts are simple and easy to follow, and so far, my baby has loved them all!! I would recommend this app to anyone who is weaning their baby no matter what stage they are at!

She has free recipes on her website. I have 2 Annabel Karmel books. The app says "free with in app purchases". I thought maybe she has bonus stuff for a fee or maybe there's a donation thing but no straight away it asking for a subscription of $50 a year. I paid about $25 for her books. Maybe I would consider a one off $25 for the app, but I wouldn't even use it for more then a year. It doesn't have the production cost of a book nor can I hand it down to someone. Library is free also.

Great selection of recipes to choose from and can choose by age or type (e.g breakfast / snacks). Recipes are mostly easy to make and usefully tells which can be frozen etc. App is easy to navigate and I love the search by ingredient feature, which makes it useful when trying to use up food in the fridge! Fantastic for BLW, but also has purees to make too.

It's been a week that it keeps crashing and won't even open. I paid for this?

Good range of recipe ideas for different ages but could have some improvements in format. E. G. it would be useful to see the appropriate age when you click into the individual recipes so that you can check it will be appropriate to your child, particularly as you can't filter by age in general sections such as "finger foods". Being able to add recipe ingredients to a list is useful, but it would also be good if you could export these lists to a text file or share externally.
