Really good resource, but not impressed by the sudden conversion of a one off purchase app to an annual subscription model after the purchase. I do not want or need upgrades, so thank you for now allowing continued access to the original purchased version.
I was holding out on subscribing to the app (even having already paid for it once before), waiting for the devs to deliver on their word that the new payment scheme helps fund the addition of more content to the app. Regrettably, the last update visible to me on the play store is exactly the same update where the new payment scheme was applied. To me, this says app received no content updates since then. I regret finally giving up on that hope. I will stick with the old version, it's 5-stars.
The new content and notes are amazing! Thanks for developing such a great app and making regional anaesthesia more accessible. I was also caught up in "subscription-gate" but rode it out as I liked the app, all sorted now. I will happily pay the yearly subscription when it next comes around. Thanks for acknowledging the suboptimal rollout of the paid subscription, and good luck with the iOS update!
I paid in full for this app! Now that I turned it on for a case after a month, it is saying I need to pay AGAIN for a subscription system? What nonsense. Give me my money back. Don't want your stupid app! Google apps autoupdates! It is useless to write in description "don't update if you don't want subscription." How was I supposed to know I'd keep my autoupdates off!?
I paid for this app a while back and now don't have any access whatsoever without paying an annual subscription. The option of going back to old app isn't being offered. I have attempted to email the team for a resolution - but would otherwise expect a refund if old app access is not granted. EDIT - Developer had excellent communication and replied with a satisfactory solution.
Guys seriously we've already purchased this app and now u want us to pay for a subscription. I can understand this for new users who are getting a free app, but those who purchased this app previously are also those who have been giving you free advertising and good reviews. Now I'm being told to pay after a 2 week free trail. Not great.... And the offer of a free year subscription doesn't make up for those who bought this as a one time purchase. Can't recomment this app anymore unfortunately
Used this app in residency - worked great. They switched to a subscription model (instead of one time purchase). Now when I pay for the subscription, it's perpetually "Loading Data" and doesn't let you see any sono-anatomy/block locations. Clearing app data worked
Really thorough and helpful assistant for regional anaesthesia. I was sceptical about the subscription model having paid full price for the app before. Being fair though it's clear this money is being put to use as there's now a large amount of new blocks added as well as lots of extra infographics and explanation to existing blocks. In summary, was marketed very poorly but the underlying content is really excellent and probably worth the subscription fee
I bought this app when there were no further additional fees. They have now changed it to an annual subscription service and have removed my access. This is without warning. The paid for app was not cheap. Appalling customer communication and customer service. I want a refund
Sudden change to subscription model after taking our money with full purchase is a bit underhanded. Update: yet another backflip by the anso team. When the subscription model first came out they promised us a downscaled version without ongoing subscription fees and now this is no longer an option. Very underhanded group of developers who used to stand for improving anaesthetic training.
