Been using Antique Identifier & Appraisal for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you take a photo of some old item, like a vintage doll or coin, and it uses AI to identify what it is and even give you an appraisal. Pretty cool if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: just snap a pic of whatever antique, curio, or collectible you’ve got and the app will analyze it. And there’s also a database of info on different types of antiques, which is pretty handy. And you can even get a professional appraisal through the app if you want to know the value of your item.

Look, if you’re into antiques, collectibles, or just figuring out the history of random old stuff you find, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the appraisals can be a bit off sometimes – but overall it does a solid job and is fun to mess around with.

So here's my honest take on Antique Identifier & Appraisal. I've tested a bunch of these types of apps and this one's pretty good. The AI identification works well most of the time and it's cool to get those value estimates, even if they're not 100% accurate. The app's got a nice clean design too, which is a plus. My only real gripe is that the database of info can feel a bit limited, especially for more obscure items. But for quickly IDing and appraising common antiques and collectibles, this is one of the better apps I've tried.

anytime I take a photo on the app to scan it even if I try using from my gallery it won't scan. apps broken. why did I pay for this??...

paid for one year subscription but app doesn't work. buyer beware. unable to ID any items due to a bug that prevents acknowledgement of images taken.
