Excellent Customer Support! We purchased our cameras end of November 2024 and they work fairly well. We had some issues along the way; however, the online support team have been wonderful. They replaced one of the cameras without any hesitation. I had the pleasure of chatting with several support people (don't know some of their names), but I chatted with Ann initially and recently Julie in the Escalation team. Simply exceptional! Battery life could be better but cameras are easy to charge.

cannot find any information on how to use the app. the Messages keep showing up, I.e. "you have bulk deleted the videos", or "someone rang your doorbell ", but there is no way to delete those messages and the list is getting longer and longer.
Yeah, you updated the app and I can no longer connect to my cams, wants me to switch to smooth mode (low quality) and just hangs forever. Didn't work well before, apparently 200mbps up and down with an 8ms latency and -50 to -40db of wifi signal isn't enough for this app. I get an alert sometimes, but can't see whats happening... kind of pointless for security at that point. Cam quality and app layout are great, just doesn't work. yes I pulled my ladder out and reset all cams, reinstalled app.
my app shows that the doorbell is always "offline" even when the battery is fully charged. It always has trouble finding a signal and suggests switching network modes (but still doesn't connect to the camera). even when I am standing at the doorbell to ring it with the app open, I do not receive a notification that the doorbell has rung.
I installed SolarCam D1 Classic Kit a couple of months ago. I installed the app on iPad and my Android mobile. So far everything works great, It looks the connection is good & I can monitor any movements from my workplace, and home & check the records. I think the only issue is they should put an AAA battery as a backup on the camera base cause sometimes I receive an alert that says if you use the camera lots you will go out of power. In general, I am happy with the style & the performance.
I've got 2 cameras (doorbell and indoor) and both work well in the app. The app is good, I have no immediate concerns. I would only like to suggest a "lock" button to lock the angle of the camera in place, as I occasionally trigger the Panorama view by accident when trying to zoom in or out. Overall, the app is easy to use and does the job. I got my second camera at a promotion price through the ad on the app, so I'm satisfied.
Overall this is a great system and app. My two issues that are keeping me from 5 stars and that every single clip I try and go back and view in the app will always skip the first 4 seconds of the clip. I can see the whole clip if I download the video onto my device however the app doesn't have an option in the settings to change the video format, and the default video player by Google doesn't seem to support the file format that the app uses, meaning I need a 3rd party app to watch my clips. bad
GLITCHY! Worked great at first but now it crashes constantly. I have to keep logging out and uninstalling the app to and reinstall it. It freezes on the camera feeds and isn't able to show live video. After the 5th time of uninstalling just to install it again, it gets very annoying. Please fix this!
So far, my experience has been great. The app allows you to view and name all your cameras and sends alerts/notifications instantly. It records events for each camera, which you can review and save, delete or just keep (they will be replaced with new recordings eventually). You can also view the live camera feed at any time. It does get updated, so that's good and it seems to work really well.
it serves its purpose IF you can get them to connect or sync to your home base. most times you can't and reaching out to customer service is useless they do not provide any type of help other than to keep repeating what you can clearly read in the instructions booklet. if you cannot get your cameras to sync to your home base or to connect them on your app at all I would suggest getting a refund you won't get any help from customer service. for months I've had issues trying to connect to no avail
