So I’ve been using the Apple TV Remote app for a couple months now. It’s basically a remote control for your Apple TV that you can use on your phone. Pretty solid app if you’re looking to control your Apple TV without the physical remote.

Here’s what you can do with it: you can use the touchpad to navigate around, adjust the volume, play/pause your shows, and even quickly access your apps. It connects automatically to your Apple TV so there’s no fiddling around with settings. It’s got most of the features you’d want in a remote app.

Look, if you’re an Apple TV user, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – the touchpad can be a bit finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job and is way more convenient than using the physical remote. Worth checking out for sure.

I've tried a bunch of remote apps for my Apple TV and this one is probably the best. The ability to control everything from my phone is super handy, and the simple interface makes it easy to use. And the automatic connection is a nice touch too. The only real downside is that the touchpad can be a bit hit-or-miss at times. But overall, it's a really solid remote replacement that I'd recommend to any Apple TV owner.
