I downloaded the android app to stream shows on my smart TV, but the app doesn't offer the option to do so. (With Netflix and YouTube this is possible, so it can't be my device.) Additionally, screen sharing just creates a black screen on the TV. I also tried to download some episodes on my phone to watch while traveling. The download starts normally, but after a few minutes the episodes just disappear from the download folder.

No Chromecast support. So it's basically the same as the progressive web app which you can download from an Android web browser. Also the authentication for sign in attempts is kinda broken. You have to choose "send a code to my iPhone". I don't own an iPhone. Surely if I had one I'd download the app on my iPhone. Then you have to choose to have the code resent as a text message or phone call because it doesn't work. But only once you have a code sent to an imaginary iPhone.

There are quite a few shows on Apple TV that I thoroughly enjoy. What I don't enjoy is how badly the app runs on android. I try to sign-in and it accepts my password and then I have to accept the agreement and no matter what it won't allow me to click the button. no matter how many times I tap the screen it doesn't react and im not signed in. it's very frustrating and makes me feel as if Apple is trying to punish me for using android

The android app is absolute garbage. When attempting to watch something on my phone, the navigation buttons, notifications, time, battery life and network all remain visible on my screen; exiting the app ensures that my place in the movie or series will be lost; and if browsing by genre is even possible on this platform (which it really should be!), developers seem to have gone out of their way to make doing so impossible to figure out. Definitely not worth my time or money.

The app simply doesn't work. I attempted to watch the available Severance episode before paying for the service, and I'm glad I did because I learned quickly that it doesn't work. First, there is no Chromecast, which is fine; that's only one issue. However, the video display keeps turning black, which, even if this issue is resolved later, doesn't make up for the abhorrent experience of using this app. I don't recommend Apple TV at all.

First it would not allow me to sign in after I jumped through all the hoops. days later it accepted my log in. now the screen is very small like you're watching a video on fb. I looked it up and it said something about zoom being enabled. um, because I play games that use the zoom feature. I'm not turning zoom off. so far the Apple TV app sucks. I'm paying and zero service. haven't watched one show.

This app SUCKS! I subscribed for one show. I didn't care for it, and all the other shows are accessible through other subscriptions. It took forever (over an hour) to get logged in only to be told that in order to cancel, I had to go to the Play Store. I never installed the app on my phone. it was done on the TV. no play store on the t.v. so when I go to cancel the subscription, it isn't an option. This is beyond ridiculous!

I think this is the worst streaming app I have ever had... screen brightness goes up and down randomly all the time, does not work with Chromecast or other streaming devices, no Polish voice over in a lot of productions, when you have poor connection like in a train you can watch but cannot download as it cancels download all the time...there is more -ehen I resume it constantly starts from incorrect places. I think I've never saw an app which would be bad in everything it supposed to be doing:o

Tried this on a like 2 month free trial or whatever. And while there's some good titles. A lot of the titles that are supposed to be on here like Google says, isn't. Also on the website of this app it says it has this title and when you click the title through the website it takes you to the app. But then there's no way of watching it. So that's frustrating.

Within 2 hours of using the app It kept logging me out and logging me back in. offering me the free trail dozens of times with no way to clear it. Then, when it would kick me out of a show, I would not be able to use the continue watching feature. All in all, a poor first impression and their support number staff couldn't help me either because my account was under review.

It doesn't leave any way to cancel the subscription! You go through this continuous loop process where it ends up on the Apple accounts and privacy page with a continue button. when you click on the continue button nothing happens and you have to start the whole process over again. two step verification and all of that and you end up at the same place. It's a gimmick they won't let you cancel.

Doesn't provide access to my Apple TV library purchases made on my television's Apple TV app. Only has Apple TV+ streaming content. I get why they don't want to sell movies and TV shows directly through the Play Store version of the app, but providing access to the content already purchased through them is easy, yet they choose not to do so. This is clearly done to force you into choosing an iPhone instead. 1 star until they fix this as the app is mostly useless.

When the app works, it's fine. But for whatever reason, I'm constantly logged out of it on my phone, have to go through several authentication steps each time, and once I'm in the app, it keeps telling me to start the free 7-day trial (which was already used) when I've already been paying for a subscription. The app also won't let me navigate to certain features a lot of the time, so I can't watch anything on my phone, and I can't even get to the page that allows me to cancel my subscription.

It's like they checked out every other streaming app on the planet and then make theirs the exact opposite. It's a TV streaming service, and you can add things to your watch list, but you can never view your watch list. there's no link or option to view your watch list anymore. so good luck remembering what you tried to put on it, or trying to retrieve anything from it. they've also added a dead end page to subscription cancellation.

Won't let me cancel I guess I'm just gonna have to cancel my bank card so they can't steal any more money from me. Got a free trial membership and didn't want to keep it so I went to try and cancel it through the app. Took me to the page to manage my Google subscriptions and it wasn't listed there so I figured I must have already done it and forgot. Then today got a receipt. When I try to manage my account from the app it wants 1000 things to sign in and then freezes. every. single. time.

I was originally super excited to see that this app was finally available to download on my android phone, but it quickly became a great disappointment. I have a pretty good movie and show collection on my apple account and I was hoping to finally be able to watch my collection on my android, only to find that they didn't allow us to view our library. This app became a great disappointment, and I would advise that if anyone else downloaded this app for the same reason, then get rid of it.

Great app to catch all the apple tv+ goodness. But it needs to be more polished. Like there is no next button when a show ends and if it does show up you had to watch like 1 minute of credits or so. The videos that play also don't auto rotate they play in portrait mode. It's just minor things here and there and there's more but overall it's still great just needs some more refinements.

the one show I downloaded this app for is garbage. I want to cancel my subscription, but they've made it infuriatingly hard. there's no email. there's no app, even though they say there is. I can't log in. I've been trying for an hour and am stuck in a revolving process of logging in, authenticating every detail of my whole life, and then being asked to log in again any time I try to actually access something. apparently, they'd rather I call them and scream at them so they stop taking my money.

stopped working. keeps trying to get me to accept a free trial when I'm already logged into my account and can see my active subscription and payments on the app. Won't let me play anything at all. deleting and redownloading the app, logging in and out, nothing fixes it. guess I just have to cancel? hope they reimburse me this months charges because this has been going on for weeks. with other reviewers complaining there's no way they don't know, yet they don't bother to fix it?

They make it nearly impossible to cancel subscriptions. I can't even acess my account because there's always at least one error before I can even log in. That's after already using the right email, password, sending a security code, and even the security # from my credit card. I've tried over the course of a few months because I thought it might be a temporary issue on their end. Scummy company going to block all transactions from by bank instead. Less than one star, no benefit only a leech.
