So here's my honest take on APRSdroid - APRS Client. I've tested a bunch of ham radio apps and this one's pretty solid. The features are comprehensive without being overwhelming, and it's easy to get the hang of. Not gonna lie, the UI could use some work, but once you figure it out it's pretty intuitive. Overall, it's a great option if you're looking to get into APRS without spending a ton of time configuring everything.

Description

Been using APRSdroid – APRS Client for a couple months now. It’s basically a ham radio app that lets you track your position and send/receive messages. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: you can see what’s going on with APRS with the hub view or on a map. There’s also messaging – you can send notes to other users. And the position tracking is pretty cool, it’ll show where you are and nearby stations.

Look, if you’re a ham radio operator, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – sometimes the UI can be a bit confusing – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an easy way to get into APRS.
