Buggy as hell. Completely unreliable. I just got locked out of my house because the tap to unlock button in the app didn't do anything.

I've been using this app to monitor my bedroom temperature with the W100, and it works perfectly for me. My bedroom gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter, so this is just what I need to monitor my bedroom temperature with. This will give me insight into my body temperature as I wake up in the morning

What have you done in the update? bring back my motion and loud noise buttons i dont want them on a separate page , Now crashes and doesn't connect loads too. you made something that worked great to a pile of rubbish. Please fix it.

I have two G4 doorbells, which I've had about 2 years. In that time I've had maybe 4 glitches, where I can't access all the features. Usually rebooting it fixed it right away, but a couple times it took a few hours for them to basically fix themselves

Not a good start! New user - unable to create an account in the Aqara Home app. In attempting to get a verification code for a new account sent to my email address. I received this failure at the bottom of the app in a little pop-up window.. "The network connection has timed out. Please check you"

Support in Chinese, without the possibility to open a ticket because the open a ticket link leads to a 404. super annoying firmware update pop-up that cannot be disabled. my device has not been online for months but the app still keeps telling me about the firmware update every time I open it. so smart... you need AI to fix this?

Using it with the FP2 presence sensor. I activated AI detection in version 5.2.8. Which changed sensitivity to high. Then app got updated to version 5.2.9 and now the AI toggle switch is gone and I can't deactivate it. Therefore sensitivity is stuck with high and can't be set to low. Having ghosts all the time.

No night mode in 2025? Very basic app. Pricing at a premium vs other smart home brands, and region locking of sensors etc (can't buy off aliexpress for 1/2 the price they sell for in the UK). Feels like you're playing games. I think I'll trust aqara with leak sensors and not much else.

why this M1S gateway is blinking blue all the time?? it is so annoying, and as soon as I launch app and refresh it stops, then after 2-3 minutes again. I read it should blink when no wifi but wifi is 3 meters away without obstacles and all other IoT devices work fine. Please do something, or at least give possibility to turn of this behaviour once for all

I had such high hopes for this sensor. When it works, it's amazing. It randomly detects "ghost" or fails to execute events for zones or freezes altogether. I hate to see the mishaps since this device could actually take over the market if the issues are addressed properly. Lastly, when I leave an area the app will show me still in that location. This should not occur. Defining an area as interference has done nothing to improve this.

The app works as far as controlling lights. I do have issues with it using a presence sensor. There is a bit of interference (ghosting) which doesn't seem like a big deal until it causes automations not to execute properly. I brought this up due to the sensor I am referring to is one of their products. * Also constantly receiving a flash screen at the bottom of my phone display stating network error A-20. This is displayed constantly.

So far the experience has been terrible. Why in 2025 are your devices 2.4GHz only? And why can you not see my hybrid 2.4/5GHz network or enter details for a hidden network? I had to change my router settings to make 2.4 it's own network and that forced me to have to reconnect several devices! Just for this thing!? And getting it connected has been a ridiculous pain, with it constantly failing to send the network config to the sensor to get it online. I hope future updates make this better.

was great but now it's rubbish. You are no longer able to look at the history as the app just fixates on one event. before it would highlight and record each time it detected something, I am not sure if it's still doing this but it looks like it isn't. Please can we just have the old app back that worked. If not, look like I will be moving to Ring

non userfriendly screen, menu and overall ux: to remove a nfc card, you need to slide the label. there is no menu search option. you have to browse for a while to find some settings. mobile app intruisive settings: gps is always required when you need to configure your door lock, whereas wifi and bluetooth are sufficients for other IoT. cloud logs can't be deactivated as soon as you install a hub. hub functionalities are very limited, if not useless.

works as a live feed but its recording feature is poor - it regularly misses people coming to the house, but picks up a car driving past many metres away. also to change the battery you need to take it off the wall which sets off the "I'm being stolen" alarm. would not recommend.

so I've had this for a while already it works ok for the most part it does what it has to do which is lock the door after leaving the house. the thing that gets to me is that 5 out of 20 times it won't recognize the fingerprint and when you open the door it locks the door when it's wide open. and for the battery you don't know if it's low it doesn't give you notification to replace it literally you don't know it's low until it stops working!

Lost all devices since I opened it the last time. Now I cannot just add them again as they appear to be bound to a different account. Would have to reset all my Aqara devices in order to be able to manage them again. Guess it's time to look for another brand to replace all my Aqara devices with.

I don't know how else to get a response from Aqara but post here. I got a camera hub and the wizard to set it up does not allow for qr code scanning. And when I try to get support, their chat bot is either offline, or only speaking Chinese. I've been doing home automation for a while now, and I've never used such a sloppy, bug filled app.

So much potential. So very unreliable. Been trying to love this thing for the last year+ but just randomly stops working, more often than not. Walking around my room in circles to trigger things on and nothing. Leave a room for hours and detects ghost people. When it works it's really cool.. When it doesn't, it's always the worst possible times. Being stranded in the dark because a simple trigger can't turn a light on, makes me actually want to go back to hue motion sensors.

I have the U50 and U100 smart locks which I like. But the app makes the experience worse. Whenever I use the app, it will ask me multiple times to give it permission to access my phone's storage. Perhaps that makes sense for other devices, but I will never allow that, and saying no once should be sufficient. Also, connecting to the locks via Bluetooth is kinda difficult. Usually takes a few times, and for some reason requires access to your location? Aqara needs to ask for less permissions.
