So here's my honest take on AR Drawing: Trace and Draw. I've tested a bunch of art and drawing apps, and this one's pretty solid. The AR tracing feature works really well and it's a fun way to improve your sketching skills, especially if you're a beginner. And the image library has a ton of options too. On the downside, I found the app can get a little repetitive after a while, and the paid version is kind of pricey just to remove ads. But if you're looking for an easy way to practice drawing, this is a great option.

Pros

  • Tons of images to trace, from simple sketches to complex illustrations
  • AR tracing feature is super convenient and works surprisingly well
  • Free to download and use, don't have to pay to access the core features
  • Intuitive interface, easy to figure out even if you're not tech-savvy
  • Good for both beginners and more experienced artists

Cons

  • Ads can get pretty annoying, even if you just want to do a quick sketch
  • The paid version to remove ads is a bit pricey for what it is
  • Repetitive after a while, could use more variety in the image library

Description

I’ve been using AR Drawing: Trace and Draw for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you trace any image or photo you want, right on your phone or tablet. Pretty solid if you’re into drawing and sketching.

Here’s what you do – you can either import a photo from your gallery or choose one from the app’s huge image library. Then you just place your device over a piece of paper and the image shows up on the camera view, kinda see-through. So you can just follow along and trace the lines. There’s also a feature where you can put the paper directly on your screen and trace it that way. Takes a bit of getting used to but it works well.

Look, if you’re into art and drawing, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to get creative and have some fun.
