Been using AR Sketch: Trace Drawing for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you turn your phone into a digital sketchpad. You can trace over AR templates of stuff like anime characters, tattoos, cars – just position your phone over a piece of paper and start sketching. There’s also an option to upload your own artwork and turn it into AR templates. Plus, they’ve got step-by-step drawing tutorials for different skill levels and subjects. Pretty solid app if you’re into digital art and sketching.
Here’s what you do: pick a template, line up your phone, and start tracing the projected lines onto your paper. There’s also a dot-to-dot mode which is kinda fun. It takes a little getting used to, but the AR tracking works pretty well once you figure it out.
Look, if you’re an artist or just like messing around with drawing apps, you’ll probably get a kick out of AR Sketch. It’s not perfect – the free version has ads that can get annoying – but overall it’s a cool way to bring your sketches to life. Worth checking out.
