Arattai has great features and works really well - no complaints there. But the name could be much better. It's not catchy or easy to say, and telling someone "Arattai install karo'" doesn't sound appealing. A more modern and memorable name would help it gain more popularity and support. Just a name change could make a big difference

Arattai has great features and performs really well — no complaints there! But the name could be a bit catchier and easier to say. "Arattai install karo" doesn't sound very appealing. A modern, memorable name could bring it more popularity and support, like "Sandesh" or something similarly attractive that also connects with India's "Local for Vocal" concept. A name change could make a big difference!

I just love this application, as it works smoothly and easy to communicate. But the name 'arattai' is not good except this you can put the name "Zyntra", "Xynko", "Varta" etc. Put the name which was eye catchy, unique and easy to pronounce. This will make the app attract foreigners as well. And I want to give you one more advice, instead of the yellow cartoon in this app, bring some other good realistic character so that it will look more attractive because this cartoon is not that good.

trying to get it to work. doesnt show any contact at all. sent a feedback but no response in 2 days. I cant find any of my contacts in arattai contacts list. when i first installed, a friend of mine showed up once when i searched but now its not working. I know 2-3 people who are definitely on arattai, searched their name and i find 100s of contacts which is not them!! also, please introduce feature to directly initiate a chat with a phone number. whatsapp seriously misses this feature.

I just downloaded and started using it. There aren’t many users right now, so we’ll need to refer it to others. The app feels a little slow, but the UX is good. However, the UI could be improved. By default, it starts with a dark theme instead of following the phone’s default settings. I’ll add more feedback after using it for a few days. Notifications are not working properly. make the name more simple I think, the name seems a reason specific may be I am wrong.

Fantastic app! 🇮🇳 Arratai is smooth, fast and very user-friendly. I love the clean interface, instant messaging, group chats, and secure experience. The file sharing and media options are seamless, making communication super easy. On top of that, it's made in India - feels amazing to support our own homegrown tech! Truly great app, but the name "Arratai" is a bit unusual and could be more catchy or easier to pronounce or remember. Also, a stronger marketing strategy is needed.

The app doesn’t provide an option to delete a post from the chat posted by others. The only option available is to report the post, which is not very practical. This is quite weird, especially when some messages are not suitable for families. It would be great if the developers could add a delete or hide option for better control in group or family chats.

I find this to be a decent product with significant potential for improvement. I created a family group intending to transition from the app I currently use, but discovered that adding members is not as easy. I personally installed the app on several family members’ phones and granted all required permissions, I was still unable to add them to the group. one-on-one calls occasionally fail to connect, even when all notifications and permissions are properly enabled. Hope fixes will roll out soon

The app needs to be fully cloud-based. Messages and media should sync automatically upon login without needing backups. A disappearing messages option, from 1 hour to 7 days, would be a great addition (off by default). Also, audio messages must continue playing in the background when you leave the chat or the app. Implementing these features would make the app much better and more convenient for users.

Change the name today itself. This is the right time to get a catchy name. The app works well, but the name “Arattai” is not very catchy or easy to remember for many users. Overall, I really like the app. However, I noticed some bugs while using the broadcast feature. Even when both I and the recipient have saved each other's numbers, some contacts(a few) do not receive my broadcast messages. The list has fewer than 50 members, and for a few the sent messages are not visible in my individual chat history others chat showing chat history. When I tried broadcasting to more than 100 members, the messages were not delivered at all. and not visible in individual chat

Update- Some if the issues resolved. This app is pretty good, but there are some problems. Some of the features not working like add file + button.Making groups is a bit buggy, and you can't delete messages for everyone. Also, you can't send files bigger than 250MB, which is a bummer for my study groups. I also want that old chats in group should be visible for new members it really helps the new one catch the old discussion.

We are all for made in India, and we are definitely pushing to make this app more and more popular. Each one of my friends have joined the app and more to come. A few key problems that the devs should take care of:- 1. Adding a contact or syncing a contact is the first and foremost challenge on the app. We have zero clue how to add someone and text them, because there are tonnes of bugs, hampering the flow. Can't write the rest due to word count restrictions. Will send a feedback on the app.

Hey Arattai Team, great work by the way, it takes courage and determination to enter an already dominated market of chat apps, keep going. Also, it would be really nice if I could just swipe left or right and go meetings or calls. Right now, I'd have to tap the meetings icon and call icon in the bottom navbar. But, if I could just swipe left or right to navigate that'd be easier.

Everything is working well overall, but there are a few performance issues. For example, when a user updates their profile photo, it is sometimes not visible to their friends. Also, the conversation process seems a bit slow — messages take longer to deliver compared to WhatsApp, which should be improved. Additionally, messages sometimes fail to send for unknown reasons; they should automatically be delivered once the internet connection is restored.

Loving the app as of now. I personally found the name of the app catchy and unique. The meetings option is very useful if you want to convert your app from casual to business. Some improvements are required like - it should immediately recognise who amongst your contacts are there on Arratai, profile pic selection should be seamless from your gallery, it takes a while for the calls to be recognised and connect. Rest is fine, almost there. Keep up the good work!
