So the ad that persuaded me to consider this purchase should the AI Avatars. As these looked impressive, I forked it for the full license. Only to find however, that the AI Avatar feature costs another £9.99 over and above, for each one you wish to generate. Not even showing you what it looks like before payment. The AI pictures I have tried generating so far are not great compared to some free ones I have used, so overall, cannot recommend this platform unfortunately.
Reviews for ARTA: AI Art & Photo Generator
← Back to ARTA: AI Art & Photo GeneratorFor some reason, you guys removed some styles like Characters and a couple of other ones. Can you please add those styles back as I'm a free user? The app itself is quite good, but the generations aren't always the best, and sometimes, it doesn't rely on the whole prompt, so that's a bit of a problem. It might be due to your recent updates, so maybe I have to purchase the Pro version to get all of the styles? Anyway, it's not that bad of an app.
This is a fantastic app. It has helped me design really artwork for upcoming projects. I haven't stopped since I started.
I literally used this app for 2 minutes and managed to accidentally download another app without my permission. I generated one photo, attempted to generate a second and hot a pop-up ad. The ad had no way of closing it, and any interaction with my screen would result in a download starting. It purposefully kept closing my navigation bar at the bottom of my phone so I couldn't press back or home without tapping the ad. I then had to quickly cancel 3 download attempts. THIS APP IS A VIRUS.
It's scammy. I got a lifetime subscription I don't even know what to do with. I thought I was getting cool AI, but this must not be the app I thought it was bc the art has me as Asian (didn't look at all like the photo) and avatars are $10 a pack in addition to the subscription, though when I made the purchase it definitely didn't seem like that. It may not be an outright scam, but now I know that there are apps that can actually perform. I don't even know what to do with this app.
Some pictures I generated were kinda cute and all, but it wasn't really what I was looking for. I was (I think) quite specific, yet it gave me something a tiny bit similar, just not it. I expected more of this app due to knowing about these types of apps, which are a bit more accurate than this one. After only 2 generated pictures, I had to continue watching ads to regenerate and generate things, and it was really annoying. I don't recommend this app unless you want to be wasting money.
This app is awesome. I use it on my kids doodles then put them on the wall in frames. For her playroom. 1 year 8 months old The price is high. I don't have time for adds. But to the devs and the entire team. Thank you. I really appreciate this app. Will renew weekly every time I have a large amount of doodles! Or.... Lower that yearly price just a little! Love the product 10 out of 10 Big edit - for the people complaining - click the wheel top right. And tell the app to focus to OG image.
It doesn't create a realistic looking AI for what was drawn. It just searches the internet for close comparisons and half the time it's way off or can't create a photo it says. The app itself isn't user friendly. It cant deal with pictures of multiple people or things. It's gender identification is wrong. My first picture I submitted was a rose 🌹 and it kept pulling up hot air balloons. After finagling with it, I got something close to a rose. But your advertisement is false.
Firstly, the very AI element is impressive. AI is a complex and incredible tool, and your ability to use it in these ways is super cool. That being said, it's INCREDIBLELY annoying how you can't do much of anything without buying the pro package after your ten minutes free usage. I get it, you put a ton of work into this and need money to keep it afloat and a success; but if you could incorporate a system like "watch this ad and you can perform one 'pro exclusive' action" itd ♾ improve photoleap
Terrible. Unlike most other AI art programs, this one disregards half my prompts and never generates anything close to what I want. Your options as a free user are so limited and bad that I couldn't get a feel for if the paid version might be worth it, but nothing I experienced in the free portion gave me any reason to think giving them money would be a good idea. Oh well, back to the far better alternatives.
Definitely feel mislead, like I just fell prey to the old bait and switch game. I paid a life time, all access fee of 29.99, only to find out that the portion of the app I want to use, the avatar generator, is an additional cost of $9.99 per use!!! SMH - I blame myself for not reading the fine print but I can at least warn others. The packaging is way cooler than what you get - unless you want to keep bleeding money. Just say NO!!!!
Not impressed. Keeps crashing, telling me try again in a few minutes. Did the 3 day free trial and figured the lifetime payment was the way to go. I have had this app for less than 6 hours yet my card has already been charged. Where is my FREE Three day trial???? Not at all impressed. I want and expect a full refund immediately. Will dispute with bank in the morning.
I haven't gotten a single good image. not one. I hate to be that kind of reviewer, but its the truth: most of the time the app will play an ad, then instead of generating the image it gives a "something went wrong" or "no internet" message and goes back to the main screen. the few times it gave me an image it was just an unidentifiable blur; so blurry in fact that you wouldn't even be able to guess what it was supposed to be.
The downside about paying for this app is that the image quality is still very, very low compared to (commercial free) options. Also, the fine print says you can't even share your art without their explicit permission. So really this is just a toy that you pkay with and delete when you've learned the basics of ai art and need to get serious. Also other reviews are correct about the blurry images and warped body parts.
A really good app I'd say, the adds are annoying a little, but can be endored. Only reason why I'm putting a 4 star is because it's difficult to get the right picture first try, and it messes up faces a ton, I had "cat king sitting on a throne" and it looked like something from the backrooms. but in the end it's a pretty good app and can make some beautiful art, and as someone who make art myself, I would say this is fun and just really cool.
Sort of cool app I guess. The AI has limited ability to look up certain detailed things. I'd say I found about 3 interesting images of the 30 images I saw. Watched ads between every single one of them. Was a bit disappointing I suppose. I kind of expected more. The app doesn't even give clarity on the best way to use the generator. Also just warning people they have very awful Terms of Service. Be careful of that.
Signed up for the free trial, tried a couple of images out, and didn't like it. They weren't good, and promts weren't followed. I deleted the app and forgot about it. The app then charged me $6.99. Okay, it's my fault, I forgot about it. But the app doesn't pop up in my Google subscriptions, so how do I cancel??
Some of the images are wonderful. But most of the images have NOTHING to do with the very specific prompt that I type in. On top of that, usually faces and limbs are messed up. Also, for about 70 percent of the time I try put in a prompt, it gives me an error message, and after all of that, most of the pics are blurred. I'm actually really disappointed since I paid the lifetime membership for this.
I like the app, but if you can get rid of blurred images, even if it's bundled into the "lifetime purchase", this would be one of the best ai art apps out there. Also it could use more styles, like an anime one, comic book one, and more artstyles like that. If those features can be implemented then I would have no problem giving this 5 stars. But right now? I'd say it's worthy of a 4-4.5 star rating. Which is better than most apps these days so very well done!
I paid for the lifetime premium, and I regret it now. It always butchers a person's eyes, hands, and face! I've generated the same image multiple times, and they were all very noticeably flawed in those areas. I don't think I've ever gotten one where the hands didn't have one or more extra fingers, or even had NORMAL EYES they are always crossed or look like they were smudged out of the art. I've had this app for about a year. So I'm greatly disappointed and am looking for a new ai app.
