Easy to follow. Helpful to keep track of recommendations.
Reviews for ASCCP Management Guidelines
← Back to ASCCP Management GuidelinesVery helpful clinical tool. Intuitive. Informative.
The old version is much more user friendly. This new version is confusing!!
Initially frustrating because of the changes from the last app, but once I understood the new guidelines, I love this app.
This app is extremely helpful and quick reference without having to dig through my paper recommendations.
Some recommendations don't line up with the ASCCP guidelines article. (See section j.4). It's a good tool to use in conjunction with knowing the guidelines well.
Excellent when all screening and care has been done perfectly according to protocols. Otherwise worthless.
Easy to use and gives great detailed rationales, including current algorithms.
confusing at times
It was great until they removed the estimate risk bar.
This app is not a user friendly as the prior version. Cannot find info on post hysterectomy patient. The text is also very small compared to last.
I love this app so much. Makes my life so much earlier getting through result and then determining follow up. I have a question for the developer. I purchased this app when I had an android phone but just switched to an iPhone so I need to purchase it again or is there a way to download it now to my iPhone?
Not so intuitive on how to use but overall excellent tool to help manage our pap smears. Good to have one place with all the pap algorithms
I found the previous version a lot simpler to use. This one is counter intuitive and doesn't show a clear pathway.
Very helpful for newest guidelines which are much less conducive to looking at algorithm charts. Have not used it for other than confirming my impression of routine screening results, though.
Good content. I always have to run the app twice fora patient before I get a result. (First time is blank). And odd recommendations sometimes that aren't well specified.
While the updated information is appreciated, the change in user interface is a step backward from the previous version, particularly when it comes to inputting findings after abnormal screening results, colposcopies, and excisional procedures. At best it is a functional quick reference for the algorithim cards.
I get locked on the "rate this app" screen when I open the app and have to reboot it just to get to the next screen. I agree with others that the older interface was much easier to use. Also if the patient didn't follow the exact guidelines, it can't give a recommendation (eg. what to do when never got the suggested colposcopy).
They updated the app by making a new app and without notification on the old app called (ASCCP MOBILE) that explains that the critical information there is out of date. That app doesn't even exist on the store now. Then they published another app that you're supposed to buy AGAIN. which will be out of date soon also and you'll never even notice. So unreliable. And what's the point of having a personalized app if you're not going to provide specific data instead just an algorithm.
This is such a huge help in guiding our follow-up. It's not only difficult to memorize all the different management protocols that vary based on age, degree of dysplasia, etc, but it also ensures that we are not going to miss something or make a mistake and keeps us evidence-based.
