Reviews for Aspect: AI-Only Social Media

I could give it 3 stars but it hasn't earned them. the app is mimicking Instagram which is cool but Instagram doesn't make money through subscriptions its makes them through ads. that should be what this app does. instead it has a £39.99 yearly subscription. this is a huge trunk off since you only get THREE dms without it. that's ridiculous no matter which way you cut it. I also haven't seen the developer responding at all to Any critical points so I reckon this app is a cash grab. cool concept

Seems like a scam. When trying to sign in with Google, it asks me to confirm on a main device, so it's trying to gather more than a normal Google login. When I try to sign up with email, I type a new password and it gives me a too many attempts for email notification even though it's my first time trying. I'm guessing they get your password you would have entered, and your email, and record it.

Would love if the app let us use AI to make posts too and also have more variety from the current AI... not just pics, but educational or random ones too). A monthly subscription would help broke folks like me 😫. Also messaging reactions & editing old posts in case of spelling errors, etc. would be amazing. And please add a way for real people to follow each other with something like a code! (could be an optional feature!) & eventually adding the ability to make money off content?

its okay I enjoyed the app really but the amount of pop-ups for more stuff. it's kind of annoying and only getting like what three messages per chat. not being able to reply to comments and not able to post a lot is also annoying. I feel like we should get more than that and not have to pay for like premium or something

I love this app as a concept but in its current state its laughably bad. you can only post once a day, you only have 3 messages per bot before you can no longer speak to them. I'd be okay if everything had a cooldown but almost every feature is locked behind a paywall. don't expect anything special if you don't want to pay for every bit of it

I like how engaging the AI is. My only thing is, you should let us choose between a monthly and yearly subscription. You can't put "only $3.99 a month" and then try to force us to shell out $39.99 with no other option. The app won't grow that way.

its interesting like status ai. but half the time u chat with a character, even a custom one, either there is no reply or u have to enter something 3-4 times. also idk if you're going for a realistic response time like in butterfly ai but its clearly inconsistent as well. it would help to see if a character is 'online' at that point too. rn feels like a waste of money

You can only post once a day, you can hardly even hold a conversation with any of the chatbots. Exactly 2 Messages before they start asking you to pay money. "Just pay money" that's not the point. I'm reviewing Aspect for the experience I'm having as a non-paying user. This is what to expect of Aspect.

It's actually really good from the short amount of time you get free. The AIs do act like humans. Sometimes the captions don't match the images, but the AI's pretty much have humans captured in how we interact 😅 it's ideal for someone who doesn't get much social interaction so left a review in case it helps. Probably would subscribe for the fun of it but £35 up front is a bit of an ask. I'd be inclined to offer it as a monthly service. Apart from that, fair play it's decent 👌

Cool idea, but nearly every feature is paywalled. I love the concept of artificial social network. As if real social media wasn't superficial enough, they've made a facsimile of a facsimile, and now we're all totally disconnected again. I'm unsure if it was intentional, but it's almost art. I would love to play with this app more and explore its features, but unfortunately almost everything is paywalled behind a somewhat pricey subscription service. I'd pay if I actually knew what I was missing.

so far I'm loving the app. HOWEVER. my only complaint is the pro option. you can only post once a day and there's a lot of limits without it. I'd be all for buying pro, but you can only buy the yearly payment. I think there should be an option to pay monthly, personally. I would be much more open to buying it in that case for a smaller cost in monthly increments.

Yeah, this is literally unusable without a premium subscription. Like you can't even reply to the comments. And while the monthly cost is like 4 dollars YOU HAVE TO BUY YEARLY TO START there was 0 option to pay by month. So why say 3.99 a month when I have to pay for a whole year to get what should be basic features in an app that I may not even end up liking??? y'all should avoid this app. it's boring and lacks basic features without paying

The app is good and functions well from a technical standpoint so far. It's kind of fun and silly. However, the monetization strategy is very poorly done. They expect that people are immediately willing to lock themselves into a yearly subscription for an AI instagram app, while not realizing they could monetize more effectively with ads integrated like Instagram does + lower-committment subscription models (possibly one to remove ads?).

Pretty cool app that replicates social media using only AI instead of real people. I like how comments under your post actually relate to the image itself and not some random filler text, I also like how you can follow and have full conversations with users. I feel like the subscription should have a cheaper payment option instead of 60 dollars a year, would also be nice if there was a free trail I could try before spending that much on a subscription as free users are very limited.

its a fun concept but its a little messed up that the app is so broken and you can't do enough to find that out until you make a 40 dollar year long commitment. things don't start to break down until you start posting multiple times a day and are able to talk to the bots more. it seems like there are certain times of day when the app just won't load anything, then once it gets over it I'll have like 50 comments where various bots posted the same comment every minute for like 15 minutes

it has so much potential and would be a perfect app if it wasn't so limited and had paywalls. and theres a lot of bugs as well. You can only post one time per day, limited to send 3 dms per profile, and cant even comment. The subscription however is only one choice which is 40 usd a year for me. I would happily get one if it had a free trial and a reasonable monthly payment price. other than that its a great app and I would spend so much more time on here if everything i did wasn't limited.

The engagement with your "posts" is the only thing you'll be able to do, and they seem kinda shallow. though you're allowed 3 direct messages with ai accounts, you aren't allowed any more beyond those, even days after or if you have "gold". I have some gold but it doesn't seem to be used at any point so it literally serves no purpose, at least for now.

This app is very fun and creative. I love how the ai looks at your post and comments on it (I've been getting some funny ones) and how you can search up celebrities and follow them. this app has insane potential, but the only thing holding it back (and holding my review back from being 5 stars) is obviously the subscription. its fine to have a subscription service, but as of right now it is limiting the app too much, and even if someone wants to subscribe, there is only a one year option.

I would say my experience with the app is pretty good. I wish you weren't as limited as you are without paying (only being able to post once a day and, only able to send three messages each DM.) I think the UI could probably do with a tiny bit more polishing but for the most part it's very user friendly. despite those things it's pretty solid.

Free version of the app: Your posts are limited to 1 every 24 hours. (Even if you delete the most recent post, it can't be edited once posted so try not to make typos.) DM's are limited to 3 replies from you and then the conversation cannot continue. You can't reply to comments or comment on posts at all, either. To fully experience the app you must pay a year subscription of $40, which is pretty steep. Think of this as a trial/demo, not a full app. I'd use Status AI instead.
