The language in the app is terrible, looks like it was written by an 8 year old... absolutely no astronomical information, and to charge £27 a week for it, absolute rip off! I don't even pay that much for a gym, where I actually get some benefit! Uninstalled and will never be reinstalling!
Reviews for AstroSoul: Astro Palm Reader
← Back to AstroSoul: Astro Palm ReaderI downloaded the app out of curiousity and I am surprised to see the app is subscription based with no free functions. I understand some apps are like that but the subscription is $29 PER WEEK. That is very predatory marketing for something that is presented through an app. Don't waste your time or money, you can get all your palm reading and horoscope compatibility elsewhere.
The app looks like it's free, but they want $30 a month. I can't even see if the app functions are good because I can't try anything without giving you my credit card information for a 3-day trial and it's too easy to forget to cancel. That right there is a huge turn off for me. It's an absolute no for me at this point, no matter how good your app is. You ought to just charge for the app if you're going to do this. The price is outrageous.
It was written as 7 days trial and i thought it was free . They just played a trick with us. It was never mentioned we will be charged for a trial! I started the trial period and charged 200 rupees which is too much! I never expected it to be this bad! If They would tell me I will be charged, I will never do it! It's a crime. Give back my 200 rupees.
Immediately wants a review, 10 seconds after opening app. It "starts for free" then opens play store pay to get billing info for it's weekly fee. Excuse me developer, that is not free and should not be listed as free or as "in app purchases". Perhaps list as free trial, or be honest and upfront and in the "about app" section on here, put that it requires a weekly billed subscription. Why would anyone want to trust an app after it isn't truthful about its price?
Poor Customer service! I subscribed for a year and logged in through Instagram and it charged me $1 and then $29 for a PDF I didn't want. Then it charged me $19 a few days later. Customer service just asks if I want to cancel after 5 emails saying I just want me money back. I had already paid for a year I shouldn't be charged for everything again in less than a year. Otherwise this was my favorite app. The customer service is horrible. Don't expect a refund even if it's their fault you get charg
I downloaded because it looked interesting. As soon as you click start free trial, it immediately takes you to a subscription page. I thought ok, i dont mind paying, i understand that they need to make money but holy cow. £27.50 A WEEK, get stuffed. I looked to try to find a smaller subscription but nope. Your not going to get anywhere charging people them prices l, and with the false advertising claiming its free when it's not.
Has the audacity to ask for a review before I've even opened the app, then says start for free, then takes you to play store where you can only proceed if you agree to a subscription whose costs are INSANE! Okay, you can have your review, your prices are a complete scam and your play store page is 100% misleading, you certainly won't be getting a subscription though
Subscribed for a year because it looks cheaper than weekly subscription. I like it because it gives me insight especially when I need some. It's very easy to use. Never experienced any app crashing or freezing. If any, it takes a few minutes to load the app. [Update 7.8.24: I think I won't renew my subscription with this app anymore. I consistently check my readings on a daily basis and noticed readings are repeated on some days.]
This app is horrific. Nothing works, palm scanner doesn't work, it wouldn't accept my birthday to access horoscopes etc, if I clicked the wrong area it would instantly close the app. On top of that, as soon as you open the app, it forces you to sign up for a free 3 day trial and after that it's $50 NZD a week. I'm weary to give it one star, I would rate it zero if I could.
Well downloaded it because it was free and looked cool. I'm sure it's a great app but couldn't find out because it's asking for a monthly paid subscription and there is no way around this. I'm sick of these apps claiming to be free but then when downloaded they ask for a paid monthly subscription. Its becoming a joke. I realise they have to make money, but if thats the case, don't list it as free. Charge people to buy the app and have a fixed price. Not monthly subscription. Just my opinion.
Free to download, free to answer you data mining questions. But not free horoscopes as it's a subscription service. I guess they never read the mystics code. " to use our skills to help other not for profit or gain" because it's a subscription service after a short free trial I of a week. I figured I won't waste time. Don't claim to be free if you want to charge me. Just make the app a payable app of a yearly subscription... Oh wait then no one will buy it as it's too expensive.
It can be said that for 60 cents it is worth three days, but never more than this amount. The main reason for my low score is the lack of an option to cancel the subscription in the application (actually there is no free trial). So make sure you cancel before the three days are up. You can cancel it in the "payments and subscriptions" section of "Play Store".
Dont bother downloading unless you have the money to pay for it. Almost verything requires the subscription. Nice looking app with potential but the cost is a bit much. $10 weekly? That's crazy. Even the monthly or yearly plan is expensive.. I'm not willing to pay that much when I'm not gaurenteed to like it. A free trial would be great, to see if it's truly worth the cost... otherwise there are other places you can get the information provided in this app for free.
It's basically a scam. READ THE TRIAL DETAILS. You can't receive any info until you sign up for the "Free Trial", which is definitely a trap as it only lasts 3 days and automatically charges you $30 when you forget to cancel (because they are counting on you to forget. 3 days is a joke, and most people who sign up would assume it's at least a week, leading to this app getting a free $30). I don't trust this app, and I can't trust the quality of it's predictions either.
Information in the readings are incomplete. They stop mid sentence. For the high price weekly subscription I assumed the app would be of highest quality and accuracy. These are general readings that ar far off. Theres even readings for the year 2022 an 2037 and far in the future that dont make sense. To rate the app internally, a suggestion or comment cannot be made without a donation to an email address. Since the app is linked to your payments it's easy to slip and make a payment. What a scam.
RIP off, They want you to put a credit card immediately in order to even try the app. If you want people to try your app, do not make them put a credit card in! I wanted to try the 3 day trial to see if I like it. Now you strayed me away! No way am I going to put my credit card in for a 3 day trial, so I can forget to cancel it and you charge me 30 a month. Take your app I do not want it. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP!
This app is horrible.!!! I tried to do the palm reading and it's garbage. It took 20-30 minutes just to load the last 25%, then when it's finally finished.. IT FREEZES!!! Every single time. So I never got ANY results. I didn't even bother trying anything else on there for two reasons. 1) the only reason I downloaded this app was to use the palm reading feature. 2) I figured I would get the same results and would just get kicked off the app because it's froze. Yea.. TOTAL GARBAGE.!!
Actually it's a nice app and yes they pre-warn about the cost a reoccurring monthly charge of 30.00. I don't like the fact your led to believe it's free. WRONG.. If you just want to read what very little they let you read and it's very general could apply to anyone very broad,it cost's you at the VERY least 50 cent's and you have to subscribe! IT'S NOT FREE!!!! and you better know what the card's mean ,if you want an explanation it will cost you,if you want a more in-depth it will cost.
There's nothing except for a prompt to pay them. You don't get to even see what it offers, or try anything out. It just asks for your birthday, then your credit card information lol. There's no "free version" like others have mentioned - I don't know why they even said that. Just a huge pop-up with no way to go back and no "x" to opt out of the trial-pop-up. Weird and pushy and zero value.
